Gekko are those machines on two legs, usually attacking with the legs and charging like a bull sometimes.
You will first encounter them early on. You can decide to replay the mission you will first encounter it, if need be. Otherwise you will unlock this naturally in the campaign during the R-04 mission (the 4th mission), while riding the elevator.
I think they come in different shapes and styles (to be confirmed though).
This will take you (starting from scratch) around 2 hours.
