This achievement will be earned automatically by completing the game. See below for details and please note, the solution will contain spoilers regarding the ending of the game.

After you pass the "point of no return" camp (don't worry as the game let's you free roam once you complete it to nab any collectables you may have missed) you can pry open the door to a windy path. Follow it and up ahead you'll view a short cutscene with Mathias and Sam. After fire cuts you off from your friend and enemy turn a bit right and start climbing up the path. You'll continue your climb up several rocky (and icy slopes) until you reach a room with a large bell and wooden doors which are blocking your path. Stand so that you are facing the bell directly in front of you and the doors are to your left side 90 degrees. Then use your bow and arrow and pull the bell to you, the wind will grab it and smash it through the doors allowing you to proceed.

Head through the doors and turn a bit left and you'll see a small wooden platform to jump to. Once at the top, stand next to the short arrow pillar, turn facing the chasm and look up. Hookshot onto another bell shaped weight higher up and traverse your new rope path (remember to press forward when time goes into slow motion and press X as soon as you grab the ledge). From here, cross the wooden plank, look left and jump for the small platform.

Once you land on this platform your friends will radio in telling you to watch out as reinforcements arrive. Once they are done talking follow the platform and jump a gap then continue on. On the second jump your target area will again fall out from under you so press X when you hit the rocky slope to attach on. From here you'll traverse around and up and double jump to the wooden structure above. At the top of this climb look out across the land and you will see lightning strike the side of the cliff, revealing your next path. Hookshot to it near the arrow post and cross this rope to the rocky slope. Head left on this rocky section, jump to the next section, then fall and grab the rocky slope below. From here travel around and up to finally reach the last Day Camp of the game. Upgrade anything you want to, grab any ammo you need and move on.

Yet another platforming section greets you. Jump to the light post then jump to the wooden structure. Ascend and look right for the next section to climb. From here jump up to start rock climbing and climb around the little linear maze prepared for you. Once you reach the top, you are actually FINALLY at the top. Proceed ahead and watch a cutscene where Mathias finally gets his way and wakes the Sun Queen who then starts either draining Sam's life into her or starts giving Sam her spirit (not sure which, the story was pretty confusing whether Himiko would possess Sam's body or if she'd simply use Sam's life to renew her own body).

After the cutscene you'll fight the usual stronger enemies from the end of the game in a few waves. Just use cover and go for headshots and you should be alright. There are a few dynamite throwers as well so be ready to move from cover to cover if need be. As you finish off waves of enemies, short in-game cutscenes take place, all the while you continue to move around the larger circular outer area trying to get to Sam. A good note as you fight through these waves is to conserve ammo on one gun (I didn't use the pistol at all) to make the upcoming "boss" battle a bit easier.

After facing down a dozen or so enemies and a mini-cutscene later, you'll have to make a big jump to a small platform, then jump again to a rock face and climb up it. Once you reach the top, you're at the boss (but not the final) battle. You're finally getting to fight one of the overly large, club wielding protectors of Himiko. As the fight begins, switch to a weapon you have some reserve ammo for and let the boss advance on you. This boss has 2 basic attacks; one is he will raise his club overhead and after a second bring it smashing down to the ground. The other consists of him swinging the club side to side slowly in an attempt to hit you. One hit is not instant death, but it hurts so watch out. After he swings his club and you successfully dodge it he will be momentarily open to attack, however if you melee him he will grab and throw you so this is a bad idea. What you want to do is dodge his attack with B then quickly get in a shot or 2 into his back (the non armored spot). After getting in 3 round of shots, he will get an indicator over his head (Y) to go in for a strike. After hitting Y, remember to wait a second for the next Y indicator to come on the prompt.

Now that you've wounded him, in standard video game fashion it should be obvious that 3 of these attacks will finish him for good. Also in standard video game fashion, his attacks will be faster each time you finish each of these sequences. Take note that now that he's wounded, archers will start showing up to help him. They can be easily dispatched while avoiding the big guy and after killing 4-5 they stop coming altogether. On the boss' second as well as third wave of attacks he will change up his strikes a bit and get faster with his swings. Again, just dodge and shoot 3 times to get your Y prompt to appear. After 3 of these quick kill prompts, the boss will finally go down.

Now that the big guy's toast, you can finally confront Mathias. Approach the center and a short cutscene will play. After Mathias shoots your bow from your hands you'll be prompted (RT) to shoot him a few times with your pistol as he runs at you. Once he does, wait for the prompt (Y) to bury your pickaxe into his back. After this you'll be prompted to mash X quite a bit then you'll finally get his gun. Then (in the only actually interesting part of this fight) you'll finally return to true Croft origins and dual wield pistols. Fire a completely unnecessary amount of times at Mathias and he will finally fall (far).

Now that the very lackluster final boss fight has occurred, sit back, watch the ending cutscenes and feel happy you made it through. Also note that technically there are 3 ending cutscenes, and this achievement (as well as Leave No Stone Unturned if all you were missing was the final Lara's Diary entry for 100%) will unlock after the second one ends and Lara gives her short monologue regarding her father.
