This is for a non boosting method.

Obviously, you should put Pulse Grenades in your loadouts and equip the Explosives support upgrade. This will increase the radius and damage the grenade does, making it hopefully easier to get kills.

You only get 1, so if you're going for this don't be afraid to choose them if you get them in ordinance drops.

Now, you're best bet is if you see a one vs one battle happening. Which is better in the FFA playlists. Try and throw your grenade right between them as they close distance when they both have damage. Try to only throw your grenades at 2 enemies. If you're in team slayer try to go for the initial rush to power weapons, like the rocket launcher or sticky detonator. Objective gametypes will also likely make a team group together.

Keep at it. This will happen more by luck than skill. And if you're unsure, most of the damage of a pulse grenade come from the pulse at the very beginning and end of it's life.

EDIT: credit to Lazyslothboy001 I completely forgot about the grenadier mod that allows you to carry an extra grenade, which would start you with 2 pulse grenades.

Edit2: You can get this with two thrown pulse grenades, you just need to get the kills with the pulse grenades.

After many long boosting sessions, I was finally able to unlock the DLC map pack achievements. Thanks to the servers’ instability, these achievements took a very long time, as I dealt with my connection dropping multiple times – sometimes after a few games, after one game, after simply searching for a game, or even after just entering War Games. They are absolutely TERRIBLE, by far one of the hardest achievements for me to acquire simply because of dropout. And the sad thing is that, as has been mentioned on the site here many times, you only need to complete one or two games in each map pack for ALL of the map pack's achievements to pop! Because of this server difficulty, and because I haven’t seen too much info regarding what maps are in each playlist, I thought I would share some of my experiences with you all.

    - First thing I’d recommend is DON’T WAIT! The servers are supposed to shut down sometime after December 18, 2021, but don’t let that fool you. Stable games are tough to obtain here, so don’t wait until the last minute to do these. There are many good people on this fine site who are looking to get these achievements too. Join or create some sessions!

    - Secondly make sure you all are on the same generation of hardware. Xbox 360 and Xbox One/Series X/S systems don’t talk to each too well and result in a LOT of disconnects. Coordinate this before you play.

    - Also any extra controllers that you can use as guests come in very handy. As has been said here and also determined from the people I’ve had sessions with, the fewer systems accessing the servers the better, and could add to overall stability. Whatever amount of boosting partners you have in your sessions make sure the controller combinations you and your friends are using add up to the minimum required number. Don’t have extras as that will cause problems matchmaking. Plus you minimize the chances of random players happening upon your sessions!

    - Using the chat feature on the Xbox app is a good substitute for a headset and may also contribute to stability.

    - Also I haven’t noticed region affecting this much, so friends from different parts of the world playing together should be ok.

Since the DLC playlists are gone I had to find the playlists during my sessions. Here’s what I recommend:

    >Crimson DLC Pack (Harvest, Shatter, Wreckage): Capture the Flag (minimum 8 people). I was able to get a Crimson map rather quickly.

    >Majestic DLC Pack (Landfall, Monolith, Skyline): Team Doubles (minimum 4 people). The Skyline map came up for me rather often. I also saw Majestic maps in Capture the Flag and Team Objective regularly.

    >Castle DLC Packs (Daybreak, Outcast Perdition): I was able to get this on Team Objective (minimum 8 people).

I can’t stress enough how difficult the servers are for this game, so if you want to get these achievements I’d recommend joining or creating sessions as soon as you can. I can also help you boost if I’m able to. Just drop me a message! And if you happen to disagree with anything I’m saying here, before slamming that downvote button, reach out to me and tell me why. If it’s something I can add to it I will. Good luck out there!
