Introduction

This Kinect Sports Gem is identical to one of the minigames in http://www.trueachievements.com/Kinect-Sports/achieveme....htm. You play as a goalkeeper and try to save as many shots as you can.

As with all Kinect Sports Gems, gaining levels is not based on gaining experience or burning calories. To gain levels, you must complete challenges.

For the completion, you will need to obtain all 101 available stars by completing challenges. Most of the challenges will come naturally, but some do require a change in gameplay.

Game Tips

Stance/Technique - Your general stance should be on your feet with your arms out slightly to your left and right. This will allow you to save each shot easily, and should give you enough time to focus the saves based on certain body parts, providing the challenges require this. You may wish to stand with your legs slightly wider so the lower shots are easier to save.

Scoring and extra lives - Each shot saved is worth one point. An extra life is gained with every 20 points earned. The shots at the start of the game are relatively easy, so it should be easy to acquire a decent amount of lives before the game gets tough.

Xbox Guide Button - The following method was suggested by http://www.trueachievements.com/Cnacu6o.htm, whom recommends using the Xbox Guide Button to pause the game with each shot. This will allow you to see where the next show is going to be. Move to a position where you can save the next shot, and then unpause the game. You can also do this to set up the more difficult challenges. Personally, I found that this method would slow down gameplay too much, but some gamers may find it useful.

Challenges

The challenges that I found most difficult involves playing right- or left-handed. For these, I moved to one side (left if you need to play right-handed, or vice versa). Keep your unwanted arm still, and swipe at ALL shots with your other hand so Kinect recognises it is being used.

All other challenges are self explanatory. In general, you should play with your legs widened slightly, and your arms out to each side. Almost all shots can and should be saved with your arms. The pace does increase as the game progresses, but only two challenges actually requires you to get to 60 points, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Should you need tips for any other specific challenges, please ask for them in the comments section. I have created a walkthrough on TrueAchievements, which has tips for all challenges in the game:

Note:

If you enter Settings, there is an option to 'Clear Missions'. DO NOT USE THIS OPTION! It will clear your challenges and ALL of your progress, so you will have to start all over, from Level 0.
