As there is no guide for this achievement I thought I would give my view on this bad boy.

This achievement may cause...

Irrational anger
Spontaneous throwing of your controller, resulting in possible property damage
unreasoned hatred for all the amazing shots that have been undertaken by golfers you may have once admired.

I have played every Tiger Woods game for the last few years and 100% each one. There has always been one achievement in the pack which really challenges even the most advanced players and this year is no exception. In my opinion though this achievement is possibly the hardest in recent years.

The main story line this year sees you recreating scenarios that have taken place involving golf's greatest ever players. I found it a really nice way of learning more about the history of the game.

For each challenge you will have an objective that you will have to complete. This is normally either recreate a single shot, beat another player or recreate a certain score/objective over a number of holes. There are 2 levels that you can obtain, Win and Legend. With Legend being understandably more difficult.
You may find that many of the events you be able to Legend on your first attempt with a bit of skill or luck.

However some of the objectives required to get the Legend level really provide a tough challenge.
There are too many challenges to go through them individually so I will try and give some general advice that you can hopefully use if you get stuck on a particular challenge. I will add any Individual guides at the bottom for challnages that people have real trouble with. If you have a guid to a particual tough challange please add it to the comments.

1. Many of the earlier challenges see you playing as players from the early 1900's with equipment from the same period. This means that you will not have the power and accuracy of the modern day guys that you may have been used to in previous games. I found it especially tough if an event had strong winds. I had many occasions when a drive and a 3 wood was not enough to get to a Par 4 in 2!
If you do find that the wind is proving a problem and the challenge consists of more than one hole keep restarting the event until the wind is either behind you or not as strong. I always tried to get birdie on the first hole of a challenge to allow me to drop a shot if possible later on.

You will find that some of the challenges that ask you to recreate a score or objective like GIR can actually be very difficult to complete if you always home in for the flag stick. You have to know when to go for the Pin and when to just hit it in the middle of the green. I found that no matter what golfer I was using, putting was always very similar and I only managed to complete some events by hitting it in the heart of the green and making a long putt! There's nothing worse than almost finishing a challenge only to get carried away and hit the ball over the green or miss a fairway.

3. Learn from your mistakes
This links very closely to the last point. If you find you are failing a particular challenge try and see what you are doing wrong or which holes you are finding difficult. Maybe you could try and get a birdie on another hole allowing you to get par on a hole you are having trouble with. Try using different shots (punch, 3/4 etc) and just get the ball on the green. After a few attempts you will find that you may have similar putts. Learn the greens you are having trouble with so you know how they will break when the ball lands on the green (not just when putting).

4. Retry the event
Some challenges are made up of multiple objectives. You can only move on to the next one once the current objective is met. If you press start and Retry event it only restarts the current objective you are one not the whole challenge. Also if you legend on section but only win the others this will be saved and you wont need to legend it again (you may need to win it in order to get to the next stage though)

Hopefully if you follow the above steps you should complete 80% of the challenges no problem.

However, the remaining 20% can really take a while. I found that some events see you recreating famous shots, but then ask you to go one step further and actually get the ball in the cup! (even when the pro didn't do that in real life!)

For these events you have to learn the green and know how much spin to use. Also learn how the wind effects the flight of the ball at different strengths. I know it sounds a bit geeky but I found it worked for me. On one occasion I had to make an ace on the 16th at Augusta with Jack Nicklaus and after 2 hours I found the exact grid square on the green I needed to aim for with the exact amount of spin.

You have to be patient in this situations and know that the shot is possible. I ended up spending about 30mins on one challenge then switched to another to keep things interesting.
Try putting some music on to stop the boredom setting in!

So to summarise then, if you are having trouble with a particular challenge try...

Just hitting the ball in the centre of the green and hit a long put.
Retry the event to get the wind in your favour
Learn the green, wind etc and be patient!

If you do all of these and hopefully get a bit of luck you will crack this achievement... It will just take some time

If anyone else has any helpful tips they think would be relevant to this guide please leave a comment below and I will be happy to add it in!

Individual Challanges

Shot head around the world
Try aiming at the very right hand edge of the silver ring on the green. Then with the 3 wood (One down from driver), do a overpowered shot (pull back untill the swing plane turns red then quickly complete the swing). It is easy to miss hit it like this but if you get a stright shot the extra power along with the wind (I always had 7-8 mph behind me) would get me to the green and feed up to the hole with some forward/left spin.
