    There are 3 encores for each chapter. With 8 chapters this means you need to finish 24 encores. All encores are timed and unlock after finishing the finale in that respective chapter. Some are incredibly easy and others are a real pain. If you are looking to do this the easiest way I would recommend Normal Solo playthrough, but Normal co-op isn't too bad as long as you have a good partner. Insane Solo playthrough would be the next easiest as these are all time trials anyway. Many basically require you to not die at all in order to finish in the time alloted.

    I've included some excellent video guides that I take no credit for. They really helped me on some tough levels. All credit goes to the uploader, LinkinX112.

    Update: destinee ehgc mentioned in the comments a tip that can't be called out in the video. In Chapter 8 Encore 3 if you rubber band the right stick so that the camera is looking up it gives you a slightly better view of the projectiles and makes it a bit easier to finish.

    destinee ehgcYou might want to share an invaluable tip I discovered on X360a; if you're really struggling with Chapter 8 Encore 3 then wrap an elastic band around the right stick. Stretch it upwards and stretch it over your battery pack. This locks the view into one that looks slightly up the whole time. This gives you a split second longer to react to each of the tank shots making a nearly impossible level hard but doable.

    LordMakanakiRubber band tip is genius. If you've completed all the encores so far you'll do it for sure using the rubber band trick.

    Davis 888Oh my jesus that Last Encore. Super big thanks to destinee ehgc, This level took me 2 hours to complete... I have never been so mad and frustrated as with this damn level...!!

    I even completed Super Meat Boy 100% It's just such random bull. At least in super meat boy when you die for 20 minutes, you eventually memorize the level. So random and annoying this one, I swear those red cannon shots home in on you... So glad to be done!

    WhyattThrash8-3 becomes a lot easier when you realize it's on a consistent cycle. So pay attention to which shots tend to hit you, and wait them out.

    For me the most consistent cycle was to wait for the shot that passes right by the first crumble block and go right after it, and then wait out the shots that go right over the blocks to the far right and to the far left before going, since these were the ones that most often ended up killing me.

    8-1 and 8-2 have VERY particular actions that you need to perform, from specific timings, to hitting lava blocks in very specific ways in order to pass through. It's far less consistent and a lot jankier than 8-3 though.

    Having you figure out these multi-stage "puzzles" while on a timer with janky platforming is pure evil and I don't know what the devs where thinking.
