Angry Birds Fan achievement in Angry Birds Classic (WP)

There is no need for a guide on this one. Play five hours.

EDIT: The problem described below is now fixed. Got a patch today and now it works!

The achievement unlocks as it should but when it unlocks it crashes the game. I searched the internet and it's a common problem. I own a Nokia Lumia 920 so I can only vouch for this model.

And when I say it crashes the game, I mean that after the achievement unlocks the game crashes everytime you try to start it, rendering it impossible to play. You can reinstall it, but then you lose all your progress.

the patch is out for fixing the crash and the 3 stars achievements.

Just want to put this in here, I got the 5 hour achievement right around the time I unlocked all 189 stars for Poached Eggs.

Have 7 worlds all 3 starred and must have at least played for 5 hours but this hasnt popped. Either I'm real good and managed to get all them 3 stars under 5 hours (unlikely) or it's just not working for me.

I have a few worlds three starred also and none of the time achievements have popped for me either.

This game would crash on startup after getting this achievement, so they released a patch in May 2013 that prevents progress towards this achievement from being saved. This means you have to get this achievement without quitting the game.

I have played more than 5 hours AND still nothing so anoyying

Apparently you have to do the 5 hours in one sitting. Closing out of the game for whatever reason doesn't save your progress. I've literally had my phone on charge at work with a level open for the last 5 hours and the achievement has finally popped.

From what I've heard the 5,000 birds used achievement now works the same

So can I open the app and leave it running in the background for 30 hrs and all the chieves will pop??
