How to unlock the Scram achievement

I found a nice little present from the developers for this one, especially if you're loading this one up to do again, and find yourself without a good weapon.

Just past the gate that you have to power up to pass, the rail switch is set to steer you down the left path. However, if you get out and flip the switch to go right (through the wooden barricade), you'll find an abandoned car (and a karma point). On the right side of the car is a Kalash with a high-powered scope. There are some more military-grade rounds on both the right and left. Better, if you need to reload, you'll start back here.

The Kalash has a faster reload than a shotgun and the bastard, and you don't have to pump it. I got this the first time I tried with the gun.

Get back on Regina and go down the left track. There are roughly 4 waves of Watchmen, between 3-5 each.

If you like, you can stop after the second wave when you see the bodies on the right (as you face toward the rear) and go into the door for a karma point and some creepiness. The Watchmen will not attack the vehicle, and the game gives you a new save point here as well.

In all, I spent 113 rounds on this, mostly because I'm a poor shot. On the other hand (and please note that I didn't stop halfway through at the save point when I did my run), if you pop the achievement you can go back to where you found the Kalash and use regular rounds without having to worry about the Watchmen catching you.

When you get all the way to the end and Regina stops, your achievement will pop. If it doesn't, you can reload your checkpoint and try again.

Warboy925Hey WerferAkrobat7, check to see if your tv has a "gaming mode", it could be that your FPS is actually caused by the tv's Input Delay (or Input Lag)........check for an opinion that "disables the post image processing", its fine for tv or movie watching, but not for games......hope this helps.....

SashamorningGame mode is huge. The lag on some TVs can be horrendous. Some games I even need to go back to an old CRT I have because game mode isn't even good enough for precision timing. (Fight Night Champion, I'm looking at you.)

Once you set out on the level "Regina" you will need to take a modified rail car with bright lamps and lights attached to it. After you pass the locked door the tunnel ahead, you will then need to push another full rail car down the track. While you're pushing this car you will need to watch behind you for groups of Watchmen trying to attack you while moving the car. To unlock this you need to keep a close eye on where the Watchmen appear from, and kill them quickly. If they happen to get up onto your railcar, you will need to reload your previous checkpoint and start over.

For the following video I used military grade ammo as it takes the Watchmen out quickly and effectively without giving them time to slip by and attack you. I've tried this with the revolver and shotgun, but the bastard gun seems to be the best alternative with this ammo type. If you're collecting military grade bullets then you will want to reload your previous checkpoint after earning this to reset your bullets. You can attempt this with standard ammo, just remember it will take 4-6 shots per Watchmen instead of the 2/3 shots the military grade produce.

Sparkz1977Same as TwistedSynns. It seems to be ok if they reach your car, as long as they don't circle around.

This is done on the chapter 'Regina'.

Play through the chapter a little ways, and you will stumble upon an old bashed up rail car. You must push this along with you for a little bit.

Now, while pushing you will get a warning the watchmen are coming simply by listening for their horrible moans, turn around to you rear, (every one of them will come from behind you).

What you must do is not let them 'reach' the railcar, which is don't let them jump on top, (once they are standing on the car swiping at you, you've lost the cheevo, just simply re-load last checkpoint),

Not to hard of an achievement, revolver will get them most of the time in one shot.

Achievement will pop when you push the bashed up rail car into the walled up shaft and the end of it's journey with you.
