750,000 must be achieved solo; co-op scores do not count.

JUST SO WE'RE CLEAR: All Nightmare Long on EXPERT is THE song to get this achievement on unless you are absolutely insane at playing Guitar Hero. See the bottom of the solution for other suggestions at songs that can reach a score of 750K, but 689 out of 1,031 ScoreHero users (67 percent) have gotten 750K with All Nightmare Long. While you cannot buy this song separately as a single, the amount of time that you'd likely spend trying to get 750K on the other songs would likely cost you a lot more time and frustration in the long run.

If you have MS Points to burn, here's the link for the album:

As of this writing, 750,000 has not been reached in any song on any difficulty other than Expert.

Although there are several songs listed below in which the 750K mark is possible, only a few are going to be worth trying for most players. Through The Fire and Flames can reach 750K with 94% notes hit and a max note streak of somewhere in the range of 550-800. Since this is the only song on-disc that can reach 750K, it's the one most people are likely going to try the most.

If you are willing to fork over the money for either an XBox Live subscription or downloadable content for your already existing subscription, however, the field changes quite a bit. All Nightmare Long is definitely the easiest of the bunch of downloadable content songs, as it is much more simple than the other 750K songs. While the other songs in the list have complicated riffs, solos, or both, All Nightmare Long is doable with a good understanding of alt-strumming speed and the dexterity to pull off some of the chord changes in the song.

The following songs on Expert have scores over 750,000:

    On-disc songs:
    Through The Fire and Flames

    Downloadable content:
Heroes of Our Time, Revolution Deathsquad and Operation Ground and Pound (Dragonforce Pack)
The Devil Went Down To Georgia (FREE)
Cyanide, All Nightmare Long (Metallica Death Magnetic Album)
Ernten Was Wir Säen (DLC Single, not available in a package deal)

The video below is a Full Combo (100% notes hit) run of All Nightmare Long on Expert. The Star Power usage is something to note here, although it may be hard to see at times.

In my opinion most people will only have a chance of getting this on All Nightmare Long on the Metallica track pack and therefore I'm going to write a guide for that song.

First off watch the video in the link below to see the best star power path. (Video is GuitarHeroPhenom not me). Even if you don't pick up all the star powers you should get enough of the easy ones to build up enough to activate in the right place. If you aren't hitting enough star powers then just practice those sections untill you do.

Now here's some targets for you. These are score targets that I used and if you're not at these targets by the time you should be, it's probably not worth carrying on.
    - 80-100k by the end of first chugging sections. (1:29 on video)
    - 175-200k by the end of the first group of fast notes. (2:18 on the video below)
    - 400-450k by the build up to solo. (4:42 on video)
    - 500-530k by end of bridge. (5:57 on video)
    - 650-675k by end of fast section towards end. (7:09 on video) If you go into the last bit at 4x multiplier you can get 100k if you fc it and activate star power where GuitarHeroPhenom does. I prefer to be at above 650k before going into the last section as this allows room for a miss or two. (You might always fc this section but trust me, when your at this point on a good run going for the achievement it's quite possible you will miss due to pressure).

One key section for me and one worth practicing is bridge (5:36 on video). This section is key as it's actually quite easy with a little practice and I worked out that 2 or 3 misses in this section gives you a score of around 10-15k but and fc gives you over 30k which is a huge difference at that point in the song.

Finally practice the fast bits at the end (from 6:31 on video) as these are key to bringing your score up at the end. An fc would be ideal but i missed twice in this section on the run I did it on and I still scored just under 760k. It is key to get a good streak in this section to rack up the points.

I know it's frustrating with it being quite a long song but you will need to restart a lot when you're not on target and keep trying over and over untill you get it. If you stick with it and you are fairly good at gh then it shouldn't take you too long.

Any questions just message me. Gamertag SN3AKY BUCKO.

Download the Metallica Album and do it on All Nightmare Long. MUCH easier than doing it on Through The Fire And Flames or The Devil Went Down To Georgia or Operation Ground And Pound or... any others.

Got it on my third time playing the song.

If you can't / do want to afford the Pack, well forgot this tip.

    Good luck! :D

The Green RobinA better option is to download the Metallica pack and do Suicide J&H. On a sightread of that song in co-op, we got 1158538. It's a very easy song, and you can afford to miss a few notes.

Crimson Ridley:p Robin, this is Now That's Impressive - 750k on a song, not Millionaire Club...

LIBERT4DI recommend getting the Metallica album if you're a fan AND someone who's planning to do achievements for GH World Tour, GH Metallica, GH 5, or GH WOR. Extra songs to play with for note streak achievements and whatnot. Yeah, it's pricey, so you've got to be a fan... but I wanted to point out it works in all of the games, not just GHIII. So you get a slightly better bargain than any other Guitar Hero DLC, IMO, given that it's the only 'old' DLC that's forwards compatible.
