How to unlock the Maestro of Sealed achievement

The Sealed campaign is found in Single Player --> Sealed Play. In here you are given 2 campaign slots (you will only need one for this achievement). When you start a sealed campaign you are given 5 packs of cards to build a deck out of. You then have to win 6 battles, 3 of which give you one additional pack of cards to add to your collection. The decks you play against are mono colored (or at least were for me) and I also built a mono colored deck. I had a few decent flying vampires and 2 black removal cards, so black was the obvious choice (with a few artifacts as well). With the randomness of the cards you will get, I cannot say for sure what will work best for you - but keep these tips in mind:

    - You are building a 40 or more card deck, try to stick to 40 if at all possible to increase your odds of drawing your best stuff
    - Try to make sure you have a good mix of mana costs, this helps increase the odds you can cast something each turn.
    - If it costs 6 or more mana, it better win you the game or have a huge impact on the battlefield!
    - While it varies depending on your mana costs and mana curve, I run between 15 and 18 mana in my sealed decks. I ended up with 15 in my final deck and had this mana curve:

    2 cards costing 1 mana
    11 at 2
    7 at 3
    4 at 4
    0 at 5
    1 at 6+

As you can see, it is a low mana cost deck that tries to come out and hit hard and fast. The 6 mana spell is a Nightmare that I got in my last pack.

    - Removal cards (card that kill or exile creatures especially) are incredibly important. Try to get multiple into your deck. I had 3 to start and ended up with 5 (one was an artifact that exiled a creature)
    - Enchantments can be quite good as there is not a lot of enchantment removal in the available cards (I had 2 Mark of the Vampire that I found useful).
    - Evasion (mainly flying or unblockable creatures) can help you continue doing damage during an otherwise locked battlefield - don't overlook their importance.

Lastly, keep in mind you can re-create your deck out of all of your available cards from that sealed collection at any time. Plus, there is no penalty for losing games, so you can keep trying until you win.

BSquad56Yeah i think that's what reminded me :p I I was like "OHHHHH YEEEAH" haha, there were no tips on sticking to 40 in the game though which I was surprised.

DakotaThriceIt actually does recommend a 40 card deck, just not very directly. If you open the deck strength panel from the deck edit screen it provides you with a checklist, one of the items being 40 cards.

GatorFistWhat a random pain in the neck. This game mode is pure trash.
