Note: If you already know how the Gigolo missions work and what the three meters are for, skip to the third section for some tips on making this achievement a lot easier.

Section 1: Some basics about the "Gigolo" missions.

You have to buy gifts from the store first. Different gifts are unlocked by completing certain missions (including new "underwear" you can offer them, which seems to come from getting AAA on some missions). The more gifts you have, the easier it'll be to complete the mission, since you won't run out of them.

The cost of gifts go up each time you buy the same one.

The Gigolo missions appear on the map as "Mondo Girls" 1 and 3. There is also a #2 (Scarlett) for challenge missions but it works differently and does not appear to count towards this achievement. One more, a "Mondo Girls 4" is for Betty, but only if you have installed the DLC. I've been told that Betty does count, but for this achievement, you're best to focus on Natalie (#1) and Koharu (#3) which seem to be a little easier (no pun intended). If I recall correctly, Koharu isn't available at the start of the game, but becomes available after a few of the story missions have been completed.

Once you "beat" the mission by filling the heart meter, you'll get a cut scene (which extends the second and third time to "show" more of what happens) and then get a gift. Initially these gifts are Mondo Arm attachments, and later, sets of 100 yellow moon crystals (that let you buy skill and power upgrades). The goal is to do this 20 times for the achievement.

You will have to alternate between them. Once you finish a mission, it will lock, but it appears that the other will unlock, so just go back and forth.

In the process of playing the mission and giving gifts, you'll also be working towards another achievement, which is for *giving* 50 gifts.

Section 2: The Three Meters.

When playing these missions, there are three meters, and it helps to understand what all of them are for.

1. The meter on the left looks like a person's head, and it fills up with liquid (blood? courage?) the more you stare at the girl's body. Stare by moving the right stick downward, so that you're no longer focused on her face. Hold the left trigger (LT) while aiming down. You can offer a gift each time the head fills to 1000. Going over 1000 first is okay, since the excess isn't lost once 1000 is deducted.

2. The meter on the right is vertical and has silhouettes of a man and woman as the backdrop. This starts full, but will decrease rapidly if you're looking at the girl's body while she's looking at you. Ideally, the game is expecting you to only take brief glimpses, and keep looking back up into her eyes to avoid getting caught looking.

3. The meter at the bottom is a series of hearts that fill up each time you give her a gift (unless it's something that doesn't, as in certain things she doesn't like at all, or most underwear, which will embarrass them). To give a gift, she needs to be looking at you, you're not looking down at her body, and the "head" has filled to 1000. There will be an RT prompt. Press RT (no need to hold it down) and select a gift from the wheel, then hit A.

Section 3: Tips to make this achievement easier.

1. In the Gigolo missions, if you're trying to power through for the achievement, don't worry too much about playing it the way you're supposed to. You can game the system in an easy way. When you first encounter the mission, it explains that you need to "look away" (move the right stick to the right). This will refill the meter on the right (basically restoring the mood). So all you really need to do to power through this is aim RS down, hold LT, and watch the meter on the right. You can tell when she's looking because instead of "romantic" chiming sounds and heart pulses you'll get kind of a rude vibration and buzzing. That's when the meter on the right starts dropping. When it's under half way (but not all the way empty -- that causes you to lose the mission), let off of LT and move the right stick to the right to begin filling the right-side meter. When it's full, aim down, hold LT, and repeat. In just a few seconds, you'll have the "head" full to 1000 or more, and be able to offer a gift. Then repeat again for another gift, and so forth, until the heart meter is full and you've "won" the mission.

2. From what I've been told, Betty (from the DLC) does count towards this achievement. The "X-Ray Glasses" come from Scarlett (the nurse), but her gifts involve beating challenge missions over and over (not really a Gigolo mission) and this doesn't appear to count towards this achievement anyway. Betty seems a little harder to win, so just focus on Natalie and Koharu when trying to finish the achievement.

3. If you need more money for gifts (or for anything, including the $100,000,000 achievement), a decent place to grind for it is in the sub-mission "Weight Limit" (Note: I need info on what story mission causes this to unlock). Play it on "Normal" because Easy gives half the money and Hard isn't worth the added effort for just a small increase in the reward. Play without the Ulti Mondo or Dark Booster upgrades equipped (if you even have them) otherwise the reward is drastically reduced. You will get between $600k and $900k per round, and it only takes a couple of minutes once you get the hang of attacking the first two or three guys with the sword, then using Adrenaline Burst (RT + X) to keep no more than two at a time in play. When you're down to just one enemy, melee again to build blood, then use RT+X again when two or more appear.

4. There will come a time -- and I'm not sure if it's triggered by beating the game on Very Hard, or finishing the Gigolo mission more than 3 times, or what -- where you will start the mission and be told that the beauty isn't accepting your gifts. If you press A, you get the "end" scene and no gift from her. So press B instead, to play the mission over and earn a reward when you finish.

5. Much of the time, when you give underwear, it will reset the heart meter (or, at a minimum, not fill it any further -- needs clarification). So if you're powering through, don't bother giving anything except standard gifts. Most "bad" ones will raise the heart meter a little, although some won't raise it at all. You can see what gifts the girl likes by repeatedly using the X-Ray glass (once you have them) with RB. An icon appears at the top right each time you do this, showing a random gift from the set of ones she likes.

6. You get the X-Ray glasses from Scarlett (Mondo Girls 2). I won't go into detail on how that works, but you basically find her in levels to obtain challenge missions, beat those challenge missions by talking to her in the "Mondo Girls 2" mission, and get a certain amount of blood added to the syringe meter each time you do. At 1000, you can "challenge" her, which doesn't involve doing anything but watching the scene.

7. The X-Ray glasses don't seem to help in actually finishing the Gigolo missions, aside from giving you a creepy peek at a computer-generated character in her underwear. So after you have an idea of what gifts they like, you don't need to bother with using the glasses for the purpose of powering through for this achievement.

8. I couldn't find a statistic in-game telling me how many gifts I had received, as a means of gauging my progress on this achievement. However, when you beat the game, there is a final stats screen with a count of how many Gigolo missions you've won, which seems to be essentially the same thing (since you get a gift from it each time). It's not practical to just keep beating the game (although it *is* pretty simple on Easy mode with a fully powered-up Mondo to play Mission 12 again on later plays), but since you only need 20 for the achievement, it's best to just keep playing until the achievement unlocks.

9. The game tells you to look her in the eyes with Gigolo Vision (hold LT while looking at her face instead of her body) to increase the mood. I'm not entirely sure what this does. It seems to add liquid to the head if you do it right after ogling her body. But it may also increase the amount of hearts you get from giving gifts. I say this, because when I started brute-forcing my way through (per tip #1 above), the amount of hearts even for gifts they liked was less than usual. But I don't know for sure, so if anybody does, I'll update this. At any rate, it's not necessary. You can finish the mission using tip #1 without giving too much attention to looking them in the eyes at all.
