They changed the ranking system after the patch. What you want to shoot for is a 100% hit ratio and at least a 90% accuracy. That will get an A. Or you could get 98% hit ratio with a 92% accuracy. You get the picture. Also it should be said there are only ten songs in the stock game. If you buy the song pack it comes with a couple easier songs that will count towards the achievement. This will make things go much smoother. Good Luck.

Nightwasp82When I cleared my cache (which deleted the patch) I was able to get A's with a combination of 188% as opposed to 190%. It actually saved me a ton of time. Ended up getting to 9 songs with A's without the patch, then saved an easier song for the 10th song with the patch to get the achievement timestamp.

RaythebestI got this today without clearing my cache. It's doable if you're determined. The first few ones aren't that hard but the last few I had to play almost 10 times before I got my timing down perfectly. The 10 songs I got A on in the end were: Smooth Operetta, William Tell Overload, Hall of the Mountain Dude, 1812 Overdrive, Valkyries Rising, Tail Light Sonata, Toccata and Funk, Sting of the Bumble Bee, Explode to Joy & Sugar High.

That's 7 from the original game and 3 DLC. These 10 are the easiest in my opinion, I can't see myself getting another A.. Well that would take alot more practice at least. Sting of the Bumblebee and William Tell Overload were the only two songs I got A** on, so those should be the easiest I assume.

RIVE XNGLEPro Tip: use a wired controller.

Being a musician for many years now, I was baffled that I couldn't get an A grade on any Medium song due to poor accuracy. Even without the patch or by hitting all the buttons simultaneously. After I swap to a wired controller, I was honestly able to get the achievement with little effort playing the original ten songs (without the patch + hitting all buttons :D ).

    It's like a magical godsend.

I figured out that if you press all buttons at the same time in rythm of the music on medium difficulty it won't affect your grade.(this doesn't work on the hard difficulty)

This method will allow you only to concentrate on your timing.

I also recommend like said above to remove your system cache so you can get an A* with a 188% combination instead of a 192% combination.(So you need a 100% hit ratio and at least 88% accuracy)

If you want the time stamp on your chievo just save one easy song so you can do this one online.I recommend saving Sting of the Bumble Bee or Hall of the Moutain Dude since this songs are the easiest ones.

So just try to get as many perfects as you can.Try only to get perfects or Awesome's.If you get too many Ok's retry the song cause at the end you will only get a B rating.

Score doesn't affect the final rating so don't press RT and LT to get the bonus points. It will only make it harder.

It's all about Training and Timing so don't give up and you will achieve this !

[ Songs on wich i got an A* : Smooth Operetta, Rave New World, Hall of the Mountain Dude, 1812 Overdrive, Valkyries Rising, Tail Light Sonata, Carmen Electric, Toccata and Funk, Sting of the Bumble Bee (DLC) and Explode to Joy (DLC) ]

Hope this helps and good luck !

VictimOfDesireThis solution is really fool proof. It's amazing how more people don't have this w/ this guide. I got an A on all 10 original songs using this method...

TheBlackxRangerI cleared system cache and played offline. All my scores and ranks were deleted and it doesnt say I have the DLC? When I sign in and update everything is fine.

The solution of la fouine 54 is good but let me explain how I used his advice into practice. Just clear your cache to have more easily able to grade A, then over the pad I placed a large coin (50 euro cents), to cover all 4 colored buttons, and I stopped it with the duct tape, so it doesn't could move. Then just follow the beat and just enough pressure with your thumb on the middle part of the coin to press the button simultaneously. In 2 hours I completed all 10 original songs. The most difficulty is Game Over Beethoven, shares in fast advice to press the coin with two fingers so as to be more precise and be sure to press all the buttons rapidly.

Mullinatergood advise man, instead of a coin i used a block eraser that covered the buttons and then some just in case it moved a little, did all 10 in under an hour, and for me Carmen Electric took the most attempts by far.
