For this achievement, you need five stars in every act of every play. The only way to get stars is to hit/finish off guys with a high "Mood Meter" (if you have played the game, you will know what that is). to get the mood meter up, you need to perform a spectacular display by air juggling and not being hit by enemies. This info is also useful for unlocking all the charms.

1. Always use your parry and then flurry attack (cn_B + cn_X,cn_X,cn_X,cn_X,cn_X). You can end with a cn_X attack, throw the enemy with a cn_B attack. You can even throw big guys after a flurry when they are in the air ONLY. When you land from that series of attacks, expect to repeat it on the next guy. I do not remember what level you unlock this attack, but I would wait to try for five stars until you have it. Make this move your best friend! This will help get perfect scenes and large combos for the challenges as well.
2. Use the cronies/minions as bullets and throw them into bigger guys. This will stagger them for a flurry attack (they kneel down and have " " over their heads). Remember, you can also throw big guys or minions at the end of a flurry attack with cn_B.
3. The dodge move help you get around the stage faster to reach enemies and keep the combo going, or avoid an attack to keep you multiplier up.
4. The Clockwork Cog (the thirteenth Charm [thanks ISAMU MkII]) extends the time for which the multiplier lasts between hits. You will want to pair this with Rabbit's Foot (the first Charm), which gives a x3 multiplier to parries or Werewolf Claw (the fourth Charm), which helps the mood meter fill faster. The Scarab Shell (the second Charm) can also be useful if you find you are getting hit a lot, as it helps lower the Mood Meter lost for each hit you take.
5. Just go all offense, all the time and keep that combo going for maximum points and star progression. The game repeats itself with predictable attacks and tactics with the AI. There is some variation in each level, but not much.
6. To level up the fastest, use the Bearicorn Mane, which gives you 15% more fame at the end of every act. Useful for

Certain Stages
Play 2 Act 5 - Wing Daemon - this one took me many attempts, where almost all other stages took 1-2 tries using above suggestions. The best suggestion I have for this stage is to wait for your moments and strike. Take your time and keep your x4 bonus, even if you have to dodge and lose your combo. Those vampire cronies attack the same time the boss does, so you will get hit if you parry all of his attacks.

The "cn_B + cn_X,cn_X,cn_X,cn_X,cn_X" is so far the best way to get the 5 stars.
Not sure about the charms you used, but the Clockwork Cog wasn't a good choice since is almost impossible beat the entire boss without getting a hit.
Rabbit Foot (the best) + Scarab Shell was my choice. I left the room filling with small enemies and with the "showtropper" (cn_LB or cn_RB) I smashed continuously the cn_Y (uppercut) made huge combos and dodged all the boss attacks.

I have a guaranteed 5-star method for the stages that give you grief... near the end of the stage, keep one large-type enemy alive (or the boss) and tap cn_B] to parry. The large-type enemies won't get thrown or lose any health, you can sit there and do it forever. If you can manage it so there are 2 or even 3 large-type enemies, you can simply mash parry constantly. You won't die as the small points you get from the parry keep you in the game, but you'll gain 4 points each time.

This method can take a while, sometimes 20 minutes or so, but is a guaranteed way to get 5-star on any stage that you have real trouble with.
Play 3 Act 3 - What makes this one tough is the mermen do not attack regularly. Some times they will simply not attack when you land from the flurry, so you must always keep a watch out and go after them if you need to keep the combo going and go for the perfect.
