## Achievement Guide for Connoisseur of the Arts

Solution
After beating the game on multiple difficulties, you're going to have to replay levels to get enough money to buy all the art. This solution assumes that you want to complete the rest of the achievements in the game, as well.

On Hard and Extreme difficulties, a bonus multiplier is applied to the money found in each level during the end-of-level summary. You'll want to replay levels on Hard difficulty to maximize the money you earn (you can't replay levels on Extreme difficulty). You need between \$65 and 70 million to buy all of the art (I'll edit this if I ever find an exact figure).

Play your first playthrough on Easy. Familiarize yourself with the levels and complete the game. Feel free to buy a single piece of art for Art Aficionado, but otherwise save all of your money until you reach \$10m for The Duck Who Would Be King. After completing the game on Easy, spend all your money on art. Then start a new game on Hard. All of the art that you bought will carry over.

Progress through Hard difficulty. After each level (or every few levels- whatever you prefer), spend all your money on art. After beating the game on Hard difficulty, you'll want to replay levels to get enough money to buy the rest of the art (remember- money is only saved by completing a level). Assuming you want to go for Smarter than the Smarties, I suggest changing to "Hard Pogo" in the options, then replaying each of the levels to help with familiarity so you're practiced and ready for Extreme difficulty. Some levels yield more money than others, but I feel it's better to get practice on each level with Hard Pogo while grinding for gold rather than while actually working through Extreme difficulty.

Random note: I used the left stick until I started playing with Hard Pogo. Then I switched to the D-pad, which made Hard Pogoing much more consistent.

Another thing to consider is that you'll probably earn about \$20-25 million in an Extreme difficulty playthrough. Art you buy and money you earn isn't saved in Extreme difficulty UNLESS you complete the game. But if you make it through, say, four or five stages and earn enough money to buy the rest of the art that you need, then the achievement will pop. You obviously can't lose the achievement if you run out of lives and have to restart.

If you just want to grind a single level for money and be done with this achievement as quickly as possible, the African Mines level yields about \$4m per run on Hard difficulty..
