This is a list for all challenges for mission F. I find it easier to minimize the game (alt+tab) to refer to these challenges than by backing out of the in-game menu's to the title screen.

Remember that progress towards these challenges continuous amongst all play-throughs of the level. If you die, abort or restart - your progress is still saved. This can allow you to speed up the process by restarting levels once you've progressed towards a challenge located near the beginning. Sometimes it's quicker to restart than finishing the stage.

NOTE: It is also worthwhile to point out that the 15 mission-specific challenges you'll be earning for this achievement also count towards the 75 needed for the Extra Credit achievement - thus negating the need to get 15 of the 75 mission-specific challenge during the original campaign.

For anyone who has completed all of the Assault Ops Challenges on another platform and synced their progress to Windows 8, you should still able to earn the Extra Credit and A for Effort achievements. Using the method listed below, I was able to obtain these seemingly partially discontinued/unobtainable achievements. Keep in mind this method will erase your save progress for the Windows 8 version of the game and the progress might sync over to other versions if they are played after deleting your save.

-First, delete savedata.bin from the following directory: C:\Users\[Username, check note below.]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.HaloSpartanAssault_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState and inside the 2533274810843141 folder. The 2533274810843141 folder may be a different series of numbers, but will have the savedata.bin file.

Note: Make sure to replace [Username] with the username connected to the PC user account where the save data was created.

-Go offline and start Halo: Spartan Assault. Once loaded, your progress should be currently reset and you should still own the achievements previously unlocked.

-Complete at least one mission while offline to create a new local save file.

-Now go to main menu and go online while in game.

-Complete another mission to be safe. Then, go check your stats to make sure everything stays reset.

-If done correctly, your progress should be reset and you will be able to earn Extra Credit and A for Effort by completing the necessary Assault Ops. (A similar method may work on Windows Phone, but I have never tested it.)

Thanks to MasterLerwing for additional advice for getting this method to work.

ReliantGung hoI never thought I would unlock this achievement but this solution did it for me.

I do have one slight suggestion. I didn't have to rename my profile (username) and the fix still worked.

Still, awesome work on figuring out a fix for this.

ZenkotoCongrats on getting the achievement and I'm glad the solution was helpful. Sorry, I meant the username currently logged into the computer. I will edit my solution to make it more clear.

jaKopoLeonThere is an easier way. Set your date on the PC back to 2014. There will be a weekly challenge available. Just do one of them and the achievements "A for Effort" and "Extra Credit" will pop. Done this in July 2019.

For those of you who have earned this achievement before on other platforms, you can obtain it on this version very easily. I have read reports that it is discontinued or unobtainable because there are no more challenges to earn: This is not true.

I also did not want to try editing my file and risk losing my saved data. (I unlocked this in May of 2020)

You would need to only complete a single challenge for this achievement to unlock do to already having done all challenges on a different version. With no weekly challenges running anymore, you can simply change your computer's clock to 2014 and complete the easiest Weekly Challenge for that week of 2014 to unlock this. I went offline, changed my date to 2014, completed an easy challenge, and then went back online. Easy as that.
