The easiest way to get this achievement is to complete levels 1 to 16. You cannot at any stage use the jump to back away from any enemies, so it is recommended to play a very defensive game, moving only to shoot away enemy bullets and to keep you in the 'safe' zone. Grab any pods you can to increase your number of lives. It is possible to die and still get the achievement.
