Before spending any money, save until you can get the X4, X6, X8 and the X10 red 'Deadpool' bricks smile. In this Lego game you have 'Deadpool missions' to earn your red bricks.

The new element is you have to earn enough gold bricks, at differing tiers (25, 50, 75, etc.) to unlock each of the red brick missions (11 in total, I didn't take note sadly, but but the last two require 150 and 200 gold bricks, so naturally the rest are less wink). The red bricks are located as follows:

x4 multiplier - in mission "Tabloid Tidy Up – Daily Bugle" - You have to use Telekinesis (i.e Jean Grey / Sue Storm / Invisible Woman) to rearrange trophies in the office to get the brick.

x6 multiplier - in mission "Feeling Fisky – Fisk Towers" - You have to use Telekinesis (i.e. Jean Grey / Sue Storm / Invisible Woman) on a picture of Kingpin, then destroy the golden door with heat beam to get the brick.

x8 multiplier - in mission "Reptillian Ruckus – Reptopia" - You have to start a transformer and use magnetic power (i.e, Magneto) to open a metallic container to get the brick. I believe this takes 125 gold bricks (correct me if I am wrong).

x 10 multiplier - in mission "House Party Protocol – Stark Tower" - you need to use Telekinesis (i.e. Jean Grey / Sue Storm / Invisible Woman) to break open a pinata after breaking open a gold object behind and to the left of the pinata.

x2 is open right off the bat (Thanks to DeeBaby4ever for the feedback), so save up 1 million studs and buy it Deadpools room on the Hellicarrier (from the deck, take the elevator down to the command room, then take the door to the left up the stairs to a hallway, he's the first door on the right). If you focus on saving studs, x4, x6 and x10 should come relatively quickly.

LoneSt4r1836^^ No it's not cumulative. It popped for me once my balance hit 1 billion.

ALoneWolf42In the walkthrough it's saying to complete all the story missions, then go through them again on Freeplay Mode, and then start the Deadpool missions.

I feel it makes more sense to do the Deadpool missions that unlock these coin bonuses as soon as possible. That way when you go back through Freeplay mode you'll be earning a lot more money. Right?

I ASK NO ONEThe mission where Thor is chasing Loki in the beginning of the mission has all those wheels on the walls to blow up. Use Iron Man and shoot everything in the room. I had over 600,000 alone in that room. 1 billion will come without effort by the end of the game with all the mutilplyers, but the beginning of that one main level in freeplay will for sure get it.

My recommendation for the quickest way to get this achievement is to do the following, please also see meatman75 and CKasper502's solutions as well:
    1) Beat the game and save up your credits to buy the x2 red brick (need 1 million)
    2) Get enough gold bricks to unlock the following side missions:
    A. Tabloid Tidy Up (10 gold bricks, free play gives you access to the x4 red brick which will cost 2 million) - Bugle on Map
    B. A Shock Withdrawal (30 Gold Bricks, free play gives you access to the Ghost Brick Collector which cost only 100,000 and allows you to collect red bricks for 1000 a brick when you set waypoints on the map (CRUCIAL, DO NOT clear the map down to mission icons and call in points as you can't set those as way points)) - Cash on Map
    C. Feeling Fisky (50 Gold Bricks, free play gives you access to the x6 red brick which will cost 3 million)
    D. Reptilian Ruckus (125 Gold Bricks, free play gives you access to the x8 Red Brick, which will cost 4 million) - Reptile on Map
    E. House Party Protocol (Complete Game, free play gives you access to the x10 Red Brick which will cost 5 million) - Stark Tower on Map
    3) Assuming you have bought the x2 and have enough studs:
    A. Activate x2 Red Brick
    B. Complete A Shock Withdrawl on Free Play and buy the Ghost Brick Collector Red Brick and activate it
    C. Set way points and collect some quick cash, aim for 2 million before completing Tabloid Tidy Up on free play, then buy the x4 red brick and activate it.
    D. Set way points and collect some quick cash, aiming for 3 million before completing Feeling Fisky on free play, after which buy the x6 red brick and activate it.
    E. Set up way points and collect cash up to 4 million before completing Reptilian Ruckus on free play; then buy and activate the x8 red brick
    F. By this point you should be making cash hand over fist so just go to Stark Tower (free play or on map if not completed yet) with x2, x4, x6, and x8 active and finish that side mission to gain access to the x10 red brick, buy it and activate it as well
    4) Go run through some main missions OR set up a way point and collect the red studs, (again 1000 a piece which at x3480 multiplier with all of the multipliers on, means you only need to collect 275 red studs and the achievement will pop).

After buying the bricks you will need to go to the pause menu and under extras you can find the red bricks and from there turn them on or off. As a heads up you will need to reactivate these bricks again if you turn off the game.
