I've just got it, I spent most of yesterday doing session missions and had spent well over an hour in it. My current mission was "Explore session mode for 30 mins" so I thought I'd go for the achievement as well and it popped after 1 hour.

It has to be done in one go. Not in multiple attempts and without pressing X to go back to the settings.

TillTheMorningI didn't get the achievement after a couple of sessions with a total duration of like 90 minutes. So I tried playing for an hour (hoping that the game doesn't freeze) like you suggested and unlocked the achievement after almost exactly 60 minutes. I'm not saying that other solutions are wrong but if it doesn't unlock for you after a couple of sessions just try doing one 60 minute session.

Zanzibar McFateMay be possible that this is glitched, or there's been an update that makes this a cumulative time achievement. I've spent a ton of time in session mode, but never a full 60 minute session. However, I unlocked the achievement today after only about 5 minutes of playing.

    ****************** Warning ************************

When playing this game be sure to always back up your save data on a USB Flash Drive.

Every time the game freezes, you have a chance of losing all of your save data.

Chances are you will lose all of your save data more than once while playing through this game, so be sure to back it up on a USB Flash Drive often.

I found a method that lets you complete sessions without having to do anything.

Note: This achievement has to be done fully in one single session. (It is not accumulative.)

    Enter Session Mode.

Now the trick is, you want to have a continuous buzzing noise coming out of your TV.

In order to do this, first unplug your guitar cord.

Then, put it back into the guitar a tiny bit. Let the metal part of the cord slightly rest inside the slot.

If you do this correctly, you will be hearing a buzzing sound coming from the TV and the band will continue playing at the lowest intensity.

(You know that buzzing sound you get when you plug and unplug your cord, that is the same sound you are trying to achieve.)

The game recognizes this sound as if you were playing, and it will count for any session goals or achievements.

Make sure that you can hear the band playing, and the intensity meter line should be yellow.

If you can't hear the band and the intensity meter line is white, re-load the game.

Just walk away for 60 minutes while it is continuously buzzing, set a timer and come back when the timer goes off.

Be sure that nobody bumps your guitar, if it is knocked slightly it might stop buzzing.

RichardW1001Good idea; as fun as session mode is for a few minutes at a time, an hour would be mind-numbing!

For people who are having difficulties getting a buzz from the jack socket, you might find that ANY metallic part on the guitar has the same effect, so long as it touches the tip of the cable and not the outer part. For me, I couldn't get the cable to balance in the jack socket, but I found a way to balance it on a string, and that seems to be working (will find out in 30 minutes time!)

Now, with the ability to play guitar through a working USB microphone, you can complete this achievement easily.

Just place your phone next to the microphone and turn the volume up all the way. Play an instrumental video from YouTube or whatever you use, and just leave it alone for 60 minutes.

Remember, it has to be continuous so make sure your phone doesn't die or go into sleep mode automatically.
