How to unlock the Call me "Sir" achievement

This achievement is for reaching rank 25 in the multiplayer portion of Battlefield 4. The achievement took me roughly 20 hours of play time without using any XP boosts.

Here are some ways that I've found helps when trying to rank up faster:

    1) Use your XP boosts - This obviously will make ranking up faster. There are 25%, 50%, and 100% boosts that can be obtained through battlepacks and always lasts for 1 hour of actual play time. To apply one, pause the game during the match and press 'X'. In the bottom right there will be a list of what boosts you have and how many of them. Highlight the one you want to use and press a to apply the boost. (Thanks to K1LL3R BEEZ for reminding me about this) And it could be just me, but I seem to get an XP boost in almost every battlepack so they are very easy to obtain.Another bonus? XP boosts also count on ribbons, medals, and service stars.

    2) Play Conquest - For me, Conquest easily gave me the majority of my XP. The best way to get XP in Conquest is to play the objective. Capture flags and use vehicles to get them. Don't focus on getting kills. Service stars are easier to earn in conquest than any other game mode. Also, the Conquest ribbon is worth 1,000 points.

    3) Find a gun you like and stick to it - I only say this because it's a lot easier to get gun service stars (2000 points each, a star is awarded after every 100 kills). Also, once you unlock the last attachment for a gun, every 50 kills afterwards awards you with a gun-specific battlepack (most have an XP boost in them).

    Hope this helps out!

allstar738MiserlyPluto459: as far as I know, as long as you have never transferred your stats over to the Xbox One version, all achievements should be unlockable on both versions.

TwistahXD: I personally haven't seen a 200% boost yet. I'll research it later and update the solution afterwards. Thanks!

ProfessorPlutothrew was a 2x boost the time he wrote that but I don't know if it's still active. I haven't knowingly transferred any stats either way but maybe it's transferred just by me playing the game?

allstar738It shouldn't transfer without your permission. It's a one time deal when you load up the Xbox One version and I think you have to play the 360 version first in order to have the option of transferring stats.

    Tips:

Use different weapon types. Eventually you will 'max out' a particular type, like assault rifles, and won't earn any more exp for that type except for ribbons and medals earned as you get kills with it.

You can earn exp for "spotting" vehicles with the recon class. Just spot a vehicle in a large game type like Obliteration, then unzoom and look for another vehicle to spot. You can re-spot any vehicle as soon as your previous spot on it wears off for more exp.

Squad Death Match and Team Death Match tend to be the most exp per hour because these matches end in around 10 minutes or less (usually) and if you're a solid player you can earn 2,000-3,000 exp minimum per match barring ribbons and medals. I got 13,000exp one match b/c I got a couple medals and a bunch of ribbons. Not bad for a 9 minute match. Beats the hell out of spending an hour or more in a match of Obliteration or Conquest only to get 4k or 5k.

On the latest double exp weekend I had a couple of matches gain me over 30,000exp with all the bonuses. I gained 400,000 exp in one night on tonight's double exp weekend so it's highly advisable to wait for them if you dislike the campfest MP as much as I do.

    Rank List******

I haven't been writing down my exp as I went along so I have to start from where I'm at. Gonna shoot for at least ranks 1-25 for the lvl 25 achievement but will try to list everything to rank 100 as well. Thank you to the following contributors: Krayzie, Acepurvis.

LifeExpectancyThanks for the heads up man. I'm half way there already and will wrap it up during the next double exp event b/c I don't want to risk a ban before all the DLC comes out, but it's good to know there's a solid method out there. I meant to reply on xbox messages but I've been crazy busy.

Not too sure why this hasn't been coverered on here yet but I will share a much more simple way to get this for those who would rather boost.

First off, you will need to Rent a Server (you can rent one for a day, very, very cheap - a Dollar/Pound/Euro something. I recommend doing this on the weekend to make the most of it.

Yes, you can kick randoms to avoid the annoyance! You can also ban them if they're persistent.

Gather a group of players (4 minimum) and create a game on Conquest, all you have to do on this gametype is capture the objectives. Similar to Domination on CoD. However the boosting method is similar to the Gears ring dance.

Either team capture A and C, then meet by B. From here on you essentially take turns capturing the objective over and over until the game ends. Each capture takes about 26 Seconds.

You also should use your Boosts which you get from Battlepacks, 200% is ideal - these last for an hour in game time.

Also, every 10 captures you get a 10,000 XP Bonus!

You can monitor your progress on the Battlepacks page, tab across through the rewards up top to see.

Now, we got lucky and had a session put up on a Double XP weekend. This helped of course so maybe plan a Session around a Double XP event.

A small tip which may or may not help - some maps have vehicles, we did a 3v3 and we all jumped in a big Jeep type vehicle. The drivers drove into the capture zone and reversed once captured to allow the other team to capture.

The players not driving basically idled while sitting in the Vehicle so the team gets the capture. You should band your controller as you can be removed for idling however you can simply rejoin. You can take turns on this.

I'm not knowledgable with the game, i can't suggest the Maps as I don't know them! But It's very simple to do.

Hope this helps those who don't want to play online.
