Here are some strategies I've developed for getting through dozens of floors of the Nightosphere in one run:

- Always play as Cinnamon Bun (fully upgraded) and enter the Nightosphere with the Big Axe equipped. Tokens to use: Zeldron's Armor (halves received damage) and Speedy Feet (can get away from enemies/obstacles much, much faster). Other good tokens to consider: Enchiridion (Imagination meter fills faster), Candy Seeds (doubles the nourishment of food), and Sack Lunch (refills health after each floor).

- As soon as your character starts a new floor, immediately hit the back button and use the mini map to find the gap in the wall. Head in that direction, taking the path of least resistance in terms of enemies. Do this every time you enter a new room.

- Dodge as many enemies as you can, only stopping to kill the ones that get in your way, threaten your safety, or are easy to take out. Learn how they move and avoid the pattern.

- Don't stop to pick up any treasure or open any chests unless it is safe to do so. You will max your treasure out at 999 after several floors without really trying. Remember that when you open a chest, you risk damaging your health if you get a bad one, so try to only open the ones that are in your way.

- Avoid the Magic Man at all costs. He is perhaps your greatest threat if he hits you with a curse, as suddenly you will be much more vulnerable to the enemies around you.

- If you do get hit with a curse, find the nearest wolf and let him hug you. The Hug Curse will override any current curse and is a crucial trick when Cyclops Tear bottles are few and far in between. Be aware that this sometimes causes you to drop/lose your sub-weapon.

- Alternate between using Cinnamon Bun's food drops and invincibility as needed. It's best to go invincible when walking through a horde of enemies, using the basic attack to build your Imagination back up as you go.

- Ensure that you are at high health and have at least the first section of the Imagination Meter full before exiting any level before a boss fight.

- If you find yourself low on health and Imagination at the same time, find the nearest monster generator that spits out non-projectile enemies and kill them until you have enough Imagination to do a food drop.

- Focus on getting through each level as fast as possible. Unlike the main dungeons, you don't need to flip switches nearly as often, so don't worry about discovering every area on your mini map. Activate switches when they are convenient, but don't risk your health seeking them out when you might not have to. Occasionally you will have to backtrack, but a lot of the time you will get lucky and only need a key to open the exit, or you'll stumble upon the right switch by random chance. Remember that if you take too long in any one dungeon, Death will come after you, and he's not one you want to add to the mix.

- Use walls/boulders/chests to your advantage to hide behind and block incoming fire.

- Most of the time you should be using your standard basic attack in order to always be filling the Imagination Meter, but the Big Axe can help out in a bind and is also useful for hitting the weeds that have lava under them without burning yourself.
