SoulCalibur II HD OnlineMoment's NoticeThe Moment's Notice achievement in SoulCalibur II HD Online worth 29 pointsUsed Guard Impact against a Guard Break move

For this achievement you must perform a Guard Impact against any Guard Break move. This can be done in pretty much any game mode however Versus Mode would be one of the easier places to pull it off. On the other hand, you may possibly unlock this naturally while progressing through Weapon Master, Arcade, Survival etc. depending on your play-style.

Guard Impacts & Guard Breaks
Guard Impacts are reversal parry moves that you can use to counter your opponents attacks. They are done by pressing G (cn_A-button) + Away or Toward your opponent the moment their attack makes contact with you. Repel versions are used for high attacks and parry versions are used for mid and low attacks.

Guard Breaks are a property that is assigned to certain moves in a character's move list. By viewing their command list, any move that have a "GB" icon next to it means that it has Guard Break properties. These moves are capable of knocking opponents back once they make contact, leaving them completely open for any subsequent attacks. By pausing for options, Command lists will show you the inputs for these moves and how to do them during gameplay.
With these things being said, there is a very simple way of doing this achievement. This method will require 2 controllers. Go to Original Mode > VS Battle then:

1. Player 1 can select any one they want.
2. Player 2 will select Heihachi, select stage, then start the match.
3. Perform Heihachi's Thunder Twin Hammer by inputting: A, A, B[hold] or (cn_X, cn_X, cn_Y[hold])
4. Player 1 will then need to quickly input G + Toward or Away (cn_A + Toward or Away) the second the 3rd part of the attack makes contact with them. Just have both controllers on a surface and input the move on one controller(using your dominant hand) and Guard Break using your other.

If done properly the game will freeze for a second and the achievement will pop for Player 1. This may take several attempts if you don't have a 2nd person performing the move for you-but it's still very simple to do alone with enough tries.

Note: This can also be done in Practice mode. You can assign 2P to the dummy by going to Practice Options > Free Style Settings > Controller then attempt the method from there. This will give you infinite tries without having to restart like in Versus.

EDIT: Esphyrian 01 also has an alternative 2 Controller method for this achievement using Talim. Feel free to try it if the above methods seem too unorthodox for you.

"Talim worked better for me. I had two fingers on + cn_A (forward DPad) for controller one, and two fingers on cn_X + cn_Y for controller 2 (Talim). Just kept spamming both at the same time and it popped."
