This is obtained by defeating the final boss - the God of Light, Bhunivelze - on Day 14 (world's last day)

Before the fight, it is strongly recommended to complete the 4 trials (as instructed by the game) to restore Lightning's sword to its original capabilities, because this not only unlocks the achievement "Crimson Rebirth", but also makes Lightning's sword, Crimson Blitz, gain 2500 Strength and 2500 Magic. This can give Lightning a huge advantage in the boss fight.

Deprotect, Deshell and Imperil are the only Debuffs that work on Bhunivelze. The fight can be separated into 4 stages.

Stage 1:
The easiest stage. Bhunivelze will first cast Doom on Lightning and later cast Haste on himself. His attacks include:

a) throwing his Double Deity out like a boomerang
b) reverse-spinning his Double Deity, from his right to his left, once Lightning's in close range
c) Almagest (spinning his Deity in front of him, creating an energy stream of 7 hits)
d) Ruin
e) Ruinga

Most attacks do not deal instant damage that blocking should not be too difficult.

Stage 2:
Bhunivelze will purely use Magic / Elemental attacks, and will cast Elemental Spirit onto himself so that he can Absorb that element e.g. Thunder, but simultaneously Weak towards its opposite one e.g. Wind. Attacks include:

a) Monads (3 silver balls that, if not destroyed, will soon explode and deal great damage)
b) Ra-class attacks
c) Ga-class attacks
d) Wings of Destruction (Bhunivelze's wings wrap around him slowly, then abruptly spreads them out for a one-hit magic attack)
e) Genethliac Hymn (Bhunivelze launches himself upward, his Double Deity forming a ring spinning in great speed, and conjures a blue sphere, Falling Star. This is when you should focus on staggering him ASAP or the Star will complete, descend and deal great damage, even if blocked at full HP. Successfully staggering Bhunivelze will interupt this attack, causing the Star to fall prematurely and dealing much less damage.)

Stage 3:
The hardest stage. Bhunivelze will cast unstealable Brave & Faith onto himself and use combos. Attacks include:

a) Ga-class spells
b) Flare, Frost, Burst, Tornado
c) Double Deity boomerang
d) Divine Punishment (thunder descends from above)
e) Almagest
f) Elementaga (Firga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Aeroga combined)
g) Ultima (one-hit magic attack)
h) Hypernova (cannot be blocked and usually results in instant-death)

To illustrate how a combo is like, Bunivelze may, for example, use Double Deity boomerang twice (8 hits), followed by Divine Punishment (1 hit), and then Almagest (7 hits). If not blocked, the whole combo chain can easily kill Lightning. It is advised not to be greedy at this stage, as blocking becomes vital to avoid exhausting HP recovery items. The signal for being safe to switch from guarding to attack is when Bunivelze steps backward after attacking; if not, it means his combo chain is not yet finished.

Stage 4 (final stage)
This is very similar to Orphan's final form in XIII. Bhunivelze will be immune to all Debuffs, and will take extremely little damage unless he is staggered, which can take a long time if Overlock is not used. Attacks include:

a) Divine Efflux (Bhunivelze covers his eyes, and shoot beam(s) from them)
b) Elementaga
c) Damnatio Memoriae (2 Divine Efflux beams, quickly followed by tens of homing beams, which can easily kill Lightning if not blocked)
d) Heartless Angels (2 Angels flying around Lightning, which, after a period of time, suddenly reduces her HP to 1. This can be blocked, however. The screen will suddenly close up on Lightning's face, which is the signal to block immediately)
e) Cataclysm (an earthquake-liked multi-hit attack)

A prolonged fight here is extremely dangerous, so don't be afraid of using Overlock multiple times. Once Bhunivelze is staggered, he will not be able to move and can be Debuffed. Attack in full force or he will get back up and the whole phase will repeat.
