  here is how to get this fast
  
  load multi-player online race press y
  race settings
  type drag
  8 player 1/4 drag
  ///////// be sure not to have it on 2 diver drag, IT NEEDS TO BE 8 ///////////
  heats 10
  class what ever you want
  driver bots 6
  max players 8
  (you and a booster + 6 bots )
  change the heats to 10 instead of 3
  end time 5 seconds
  
  if you both finish in the top 3
  you will get a medal.
  
  each heat give you one medal about 5 minutes for 10 medals
  
  also if as stated in comments you can trade off your tunes and car decals to get those corresponding achievements
  of earning 1000-30,000 dollars for using each by another player online

  Here is a little tip I used zamacgod303 guide but I figured
  out if you set it up for 8 player drag and set drivatars to 0
  and players to 2 you can both win medals without having to worry about beating the drivatars. Then you can just take turns whose in first for the leading miles. I can confirm this works at first I thought the game glitched but I tried it again and it works perfectly.

  Hey this is the quickest way that I found to complete online medals with the help of some fellow gamers of course, I would like to thank TheIcemanCometh,HD Addict,l PuK3 l
  
  First you will need 1 fellow booster you can do it with 2, but 1 is best that way you can trade off on 1st place lead miles.
  Now you and you friend or friends get in a party, go to multiplayer push y for private match. Once you are in match have you friend come into multiplayer and it should give them an option to push start to join your lobby. Now go to game settings and change the following:
  
  Map: Indianapolis Oval
  Max Players: 16
  Number of AI: Min 2
  Drivatar Difficulty: depends on you more money the higher the difficulty.
  Laps:1 (or as many as you like because it add to you 1000 miles leading in first place when you coming in 1st)
  Damage difficulty: whatever you like
  Collision Mode: Always off (up to you I like it off)
  Car class: Any (higher the class faster the finish time)
  Drive type: Any (I like all wheels)
  
  Hit RB for advanced Rules
  
  Change End race timer at the bottom of the page to 5 sec or 10 up to you.
  
  Now have everyone human ready up and start the race choose who comes in 1st, 2nd and 3rd if you have a 3rd, and then just rotate.

  Update: if you put 16 AI in the race the medal rewards are somewhat like single player
  1st 2nd 3rd:gold
  4th 5th 6th 7th:silver
  7th 8th 9th 10th:bronze
  
  Update:
  I found a quicker way to get you medals you can get the track done in about 35-37 sec with a A 700 class car here is how:
  
  Map: Top Gear West
  Max Players: 16
  Number of AI: Min 2
  Drivatar Difficulty: depends on you more money the higher the difficulty.

  ^ yes in multiplayer matches but you have to come first second or third

  Everyone is talking about getting gold medals. You dont need a gold to get this achievement. Silver will do as well.
  
  Not the fastest way. But with a friend we have been grinding it out.
  
  MP Private match
  Indy oval, 1 lap race
  8 drivatards
  Formula 1 lotus ( 49 seconds per lap )
  5 seconds to end game
  
  We each get a medal that counts. We switch off for gold so we can both get the lead for 1000 miles achievement as well. But that one can be done solo in PM as well.
  
  If anyone else wants in on this, i will be grinding it for the next week. Hit me up as i will be online during the evenings eastern US time. GT is my tag here as well.
