This cannot be won by paying to skip to match 10. For all characters, play Survival mode on easy. Just attack the computer into a corner and spam attacks to win. I just rotated the left thumb stick (starting down and then rotating away from the CPU) and spammed light kicks and the matches would be over very quickly.
