    General Master

There is a total of 80 General fight trials to get this achievement, 10 in each category of 8.
To unlock this achievement you must get 60 LVLs complete.

NOTE: Not everyone will get the achievement at 60, this can be glitchy as I got my achievement at 61. If you do not unlock the achievement at 60, just keep getting more done and it should unlock.

Note 2: Since it changed to season 2 everyone with ANY general fight titles from SEASON 1 has reset, BUT you still have the same progress towards the achievement, just keep unlocking the new fight titles and you will obtain the achievement when you come to 60 with season 1 and 2 combined.

Note 3: For everyone starting or continuing Killer Instinct, when they were reset for Season 2, the fight titles were made easier, so using my guide below, do understand that the requirements are different, you can still follow my solution, it will just be easier then how I put it.

There are Fight titles for every character, and then there are general fight titles, to view all fight titles, go to

    Fight Archive->Fight Titles->General

This achievement was no problem at all for me, so I will just give which ones I did to get to 60 and how I did them.

    OPTIONAL:
If you don't want to get the achievement extremely fast and are willing to wait, you can just go for the other achievements and you will eventually hit LVL 10 total matches played (5000 matches).

Also in RANKED VICTORIES you can get 2 more towards the 60 if you wait until you have all 6 characters 20 wins which will be 120 victories (LVL 7)

The Killers425I'm not fully sure i understand how this works... If i go into the menu and check how many fight chalenges i've completed, it says '454'.
Oh wait, while typing this i've noticed there's a 'general' tab which is at 24, so i guess i have to get to 60 in that?
I'm going to send this anyways incase anyone is a bit slow like i was and didn't realize ^-^

** WITH THE UPDATE FOR THE SEASON 2, IF YOU DIDN'T COMPLETE THE 60 GENERAL FIGHT TITLES **

This is the free update (about 7 GB for the size) imposed by the game.

With the update for the season 2, all the game interface and menus have been completely redone, and all the general fight titles have been reset to 0. In fact, the general fight titles unlocked in the season 1 and those which will be unlocked in the season 2 are cumulative. This means that if you were 50 general fight titles in the season 1, simply unlocked 10 general fight titles in the season 2 for the achievement. By knowing that, in the season 1, the more we advanced in the general fight titles, the more they were long to get. By starting from 0 with the season 2 make you saving time because the first general fight titles are quick to unlock. Additionally, as the season 2 takes back your stats from the season 1, some general fight titles can be unlocked when you start the season 2 for the first time, and you may have enough to have the achievement.

Thanks to the season 2 for this time saving ;)

This is not a specific guide but more so a checklist along with some tips for tackling this game as a whole. There are other excellent, very detailed guides for unlocking each specific achievement.

    Background
When I decided to start Killer Instinct from scratch in early 2021 (began 3/26/21 and finished 6/21/21), I decided that I needed a way to guide and track my progress to completion in the most efficient way possible. With a base game of 94 achievements and 28 DLCs which is composed of 23 characters, a ranked MP DLC (League Title Update), a story mode (similar to MK's ladder system), an RPG type mode (Shadow Lords 1 & 2), and Shadow Mode (machine learning type bot simulator) that made up another 370 achievements, this game was going to take some time and coordination.

    Info
I created a spreadsheet by exporting all of the Achievement Titles, Achievement Descriptions, and Gamerscore from TA. I added the following columns:

    • Order: to keep the initial achievement order
    • BASE/DLC: determines if the achievement was part of the base game or one of the DLCs
    • Release Date: for sorting purposes
    • Type: I created 23 "Types" of achievements in this game, most are repetitive across characters (i.e. win versus match with [insert character])
    • Character: let's you know which character the achievement applies to. There are 29 characters in total. Some achievements are assigned to "Any" meaning those do not apply to a specific character. Omen does not follow the normal DLC achievement path rather it has 5 random achievements tied to it.
    • Unlocked: put an "x" in the cell if you have unlocked it. This ties in with the Pivot tab where you refresh the pivot tables to show your percentage complete.
If you decide to use the spreadsheet, start by deleting all of the x's in the Unlocked column on KI TA tab (not to be confused with the KI TA sortable tab which is used for sorting to your hearts desire without messing with your main tab). Once you start filling in "x" 's in the KI TA tab, you can refresh the Pivot tab to see your progress based on Type and/or Character.

I hope this spreadsheet helps for anyone starting this beast of game that is quite fun. It was more time consuming than challenging but overall I really enjoyed it.

    Tips:
    • Complete the Shadow Mode achievements first as these have broken in the past and were unobtainable for a while before they patched it.
    • Find a hardcore, dedicated group to boost ranked achievements. Playing this game legit online will take a while and will be pretty tough!
    • Try to have fun with Shadow Lords Mode, once I understood how it worked (which just took playing it a while) it was a lot of fun!
    • Keep a second controller handy for some of the Fight Challenges. For example, blocks can be done easily by rubber banding your main controller to block while you perform a move with the second controller.
    • If you haven't already, read through the Walkthrough. It was well done up to the point before the writer quit updating it. For the rest, read through the guides and of course, the comments on the guides for good info.
Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions to make the spreadsheet better.
