TRIAL 1, Classic Helix: Ah, memories! This is one of the more memorable levels from the first Peggle. The easiest way to clear this is to choose Jeffrey. Pick up a green peg as early as you can. Ideally, if you can hit one on either side with your first shot, that’s great. With his Boulder power-up, wait until a bunch of orange pegs are down the center of the helix, and shoot straight down. You’ll clear a ton of pegs out this way, get a few extra balls, and possibly even pick up the other Boulder power-up. Do the same thing with the second Boulder power-up, aiming to take out as many orange pegs as possible that are still in the helix. You should still have close to 10 balls left by the time you’ve used both power-ups. Use them to pick off the rest of the pegs in this level.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION, provided by KiR3D: "Use Berg, and if you can get a green peg at the top and bounce into the helix, it can clear the entire center." Thanks, KiR3D!

TRIAL 2, Maestro Bounce: It doesn’t matter who you choose for this challenge because you get no power-ups. The slight shot adjust (LB/RB or left/right on the d-pad) are your best friends here. Aim for the middle bumper and try to hit any of the pegs up top. If you’re close, use the slight adjust to tweak it. You get 10 balls to hit 10 pegs. There’s no true strategy for this one – it’s about luck and a feel for aiming. The bottom two pegs, below the second set of orange dividers, can be hit by richocheting off the bottom-most bumpers.

TRIAL 3, No Free Lunch: Because you don’t get any free balls on this level, things can get ugly in a hurry. Don’t hesitate to restart if you get off on the wrong foot. I chose Gnorman and tried to get his Uber Volt power-ups as quickly as possible. Use them to clear out as many pegs as possible – both orange and blue – and then use the rest of the balls to pick off the rest. This level isn’t particularly difficult, so if you’re having a tough time, restart to shuffle the pegs around.

TRIAL 4, Rubber Needle: It doesn’t matter who you choose for this challenge because you get no power-ups. This is almost entirely about luck. You could be here a while. You have 10 tries (or more, if you get the ball in the cup or get lucky on coin flips) to hit the one orange peg. I tried to bounce balls off the walls, but it didn’t work. Eventually, I hit the peg just by timing the shot right that went straight through the bumper circle, not hitting any bumpers. I’d suggest aiming straight down (or very slightly left, like I did), and just trying to time it like that.

TRIAL 5, Seven in Style: The easiest style shot to get is Free Ball Skills. As such, I chose Bjorn, because his Super Guide power-up makes it easy to get re-directs off pegs into the cup. To get a Free Ball Skills style shot, you need to aim your shot to hit directly off one peg and land in the cup. Get Super Guide as quickly as you can, and use it to time your shots to carom off pegs and directly into the cup. If you’re good at this type of shot, you don’t even need the Super Guide – it just helps to have it. Other relatively easy (though more luck-based) types of skill shots to get on this are Super Slide or Orange Attack, if you’re able to get into the larger rings of pegs on the sides and clear a lot out that way.

TRIAL 6, Orange Overflow: Gnorman’s your man here. Get his Uber Volt power-ups as quickly as possible. Use them to clear out as many pegs as possible – both orange and blue – and then use the rest of the balls to pick off the rest. This level isn’t particularly difficult, so if you’re having a tough time, restart to shuffle the pegs around. To clear a lot of pegs out at once – with or without Uber Volt – try to get the ball to carom around in the two curved columns of pegs on either side. With Uber Volt, you’ll destroy most of the side of the screen this way in no time at all.

TRIAL 7, Shooting in the Dark: These levels without aiming reticules are frustrating, and more luck-based than normal. Choose Gnorman to make use of his Uber Volt power-up. I’d like to think I’m good at Peggle, but it still took me three tries to beat a relatively easy level, just because of the lack of aiming. A few lucky bounces, especially coupled with well-timed Uber Volt (again, use it as early as possible to clear out pegs), should get you in a position where there’s just a handful of pegs left and you have a handful of shots left. Good luck with this; it’s the hardest of the first 7 trials in this set.

TRIAL 8, Huge Honking Shot Score: I don’t think it matters who you choose on this level. I restarted a bunch of times to try to get a green peg on the outmost ring of shielded pegs, but I couldn’t get one there – it may not be possible. If you can’t get that, clear out three shielded pegs in a row on the outmost ring. Even if this takes six shots, that’s fine, because you’ll only need one more shot. Wait for that three-peg gap to circle around and begin coming up the left-hand side. When it’s at about 9 or 10 o’clock if the outmost ring was a clock, shoot in there, and hope for the best. I earned 87,000 points on the shot, plus three slides and an Orange Attack, for a total of 287,000. This is the best way to get this, but it’s not a sure thing. If the ball takes a poor bounce, retry this method until you get it.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION, provided by TayX: "For Trial 8, I was having trouble timing the slide shot correctly and ended up getting this using Berg instead. I cleared the outer ring in 2-3 shots with Extreme Slide and then cleared the middle ring as well, leaving the only oranges left in the final ring of circular pegs. With Berg's Deep Freeze, one shot here freezes the whole ring and with a 10X multiplier at this point plus the Fever Bonus, I got over 250,000 points easily. I believe I got 350K+ on the shot, even before landing in the bucket."

TRIAL 9, The Precipice: Since you only get one ball to start, you need to make it count. I chose Gnorman again for Uber Volt. This level is kind of all about peg placement. The easiest solid shot to get is in the bottom left horseshoe. Hopefully, you’ll get a few purple pegs in there, and also a green or two, to rack up points and set up future shots well. (Purple is more important at the start, to make sure you get a second chance.) Get a decent slide on your first shot, and score enough points to pick up a spare life. If you get lucky, and the ball bounces around the right amount of time, it may also drop into the cup to pick up a second spare life. If you have two or more balls before your shot, you can be a little more daring and aim for green pegs to pick up Uber Volt. Aim for clusters of purple pegs to rack up your score and extend lives. The pegs are all situated in a way to clear a lot at once, so once you pick up a little momentum, it should carry you through to the end.

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION, provided by noose01: "I found Berg to be much easier in trial 9. Just line archs to desired position and hit green peg to stop archs. Then it's just getting points and extra balls." Thanks, noose01!

TRIAL 10, No Love: Come on PopCap, did you run out of ideas? ANOTHER level with no aim? This is the worst; glad this achievement is worth 50G and not 25G. Choose Gnorman for Uber Volt. I got really lucky and was able to clear this on my first shot. Uber Volt pays great dividends here, as always. It’s all about feel for where you’re aiming. Don’t be afraid to restart if you run into trouble. If you’re really struggling, head back into the regular level (which is the final level in Celestial Realm) to get a sense of about where the aimer should be to get the shots you want. If you’ve made it to this point and cleared the other 59 trials, this shouldn’t pose TOO much of a threat. Good luck!

This guide is for Japanese players about mistranslations.

    日本版について。
    日本語版では5つ目のトライアルに、"7種類のスタイルショットを発動"と書いていますが、正しくは"7回スタイルショット"を発動です。

    誤訳ですが、難易度が大違いですので、フリーボールを7回やりましょう。
