Most will get this through normal play without trying, but just to clarify - the "creatures" are the small hopping ones that explode into green smoke when you get near.
You just need to go past one slow enough to set them off and then get clear so you don't die.
You can easily get this near the beginning of Sea of Sand just after getting the series of five columns you make across the sand pit there is a creature. After surviving the creature's explosion, just jump in the sand pit to die and repeat until you have the achievement.
