The Daily Challenge is a set of 3 different Minesweeper modes, one in easy, one in medium, and one in hard, each day. The game is still Minesweeper but games vary from puzzles where you have to flag everything you can flag on a chosen board (Flags), get a certain number of taps without blowing yourself up (Taps), detonate a certain number of mines in a certain number of moves (Detonation), or the best, find the 8 on the board (Treasure Hunt).

To unlock this achievement, just play 5 days in a row. You are not required to win, but for the sake of this achievement, it may be safer. Reports seem to be unanimous that the achievement will unlock during the SECOND challenge played on the fifth day.

If you do not want to wait, you are able to both go back and play 5 days in a row, or even go forward. In order to do this, however, you MUST first set your computer's clock to match the challenges of the day you're playing. If you play a challenge on a day that does not match it on the calendar, it will not count.

mosin360So today I failed on two challenges and it unlocked after the second. So I would say do at least two a day to make sure you get it.

    planting42Solution is wrong.

You CAN go back and replay past days but there's a catch. Change your date on the PC so that the app thinks the date is current. Exit app, change date and repeat.

Also, simply playing is all that is required. I loaded the game and played all 3 daily challenges for 5 days. The achievement unlocked as soon as I loaded the 2nd challenge of the 5th day. Winning the challenge is completely optional.

Edward HyenaTried it myself, fixed it to match. Not only can you go back, but you can go forward, but you must stay within the same month.

HolyHalfDeadJust to confirm what has already been said. I have never won a challenge. I lost 1 challenge 5 days in a row but didn't get the achievement until I lost a second challenge on the 5th day.

test23manI won first daily challenge on 5th day, then lost second challenge on the 5th. Then it popped!

ScuzzyBunnyFYI if you are using the "alter date method" the achv timestamps on the 5th day in a row...I was using Dec 13, so now the achv is showing up as earned 12/5/13.

DelithThe time manipulation worked but if you already did the previous days, you need to go back and fail at least one challenge each of those days again, even if you completed them previously. Merely changing the date and reopening the app did not work for me.

psportalI can confirm that on the 5th day, I had to play a 2nd challenge to unlock the achievement.
