How to unlock the Sequence 1 achievement

    This is a guide to doing the last mission of the sequence.

    If you want full synch, go to a weapons shop and buy a musket. The secondary objective is to kill your target with it.

    To get into the governor's mansion, you need to follow the butler that comes out of the gate. At the butler's destination, he hands over the mansion's kitchen key to a gentleman. You then have to pickpocket the gentleman before you can go back.

    I played as the slave, but the game says you can play as the lady as well.

    Back at the gate, find a crate and pick it up. Carrying a crate will allow you past the gate guards.

    Don't worry about the yellow marks too much. They're only warnings that people have seen you but have not thought you a threat. If the triangle marks start to fill quickly, then run away from them.

    Follow the green map marker to the kitchen door and enter the mansion.

    There will be a total of 3 patrolling guards you will have to pass before you get to the governor.

    The first will be circling around the 1st floor hallway and the kitchen area. Follow behind him until you see the stairs and walk up.

    The second guard will be patrolling between the top of the stairs and the hallway. Wait until he goes to the right of the stairs, standing against the wall. Run the rest of the way up the stairs and straight down to the end of the hallway, turn right, and wait.

    The third guard will be patrolling the hallway outside of the governor's quarters.

    Wait until his back is to you and follow him down and then past him until you find the glowing door. Interact (B) with it to peek in.

    You will see a cutscene of the governor discussing a deal he made with the Templars.

    After the Templar leaves, you will need to kill the governor.

    The governor will see you and run for cover.

    Guard reinforcements will arrive with bayonets.

    Run past them to get at the governor with whatever weapon you have. (Remember to use the musket to fulfill the secondary objective.)

    After you kill the governor, you will need to leave the mansion. (Notice the game skips ahead to after you evaded the guards inside. ;>) As a slave, you can make use of the roof and jump over the wall. As the lady, I'm guessing you will have to brave the courtyard and exit through the gate. (Remember, a lady can't climb walls and rooftops.)

    Once you're past the red area on your minimap, the game will fade and return with you in your assassin's gear.

    Follow the marker to the town gates and exit, where you will be ambushed by the guards there.

    Follow the directions of tagging and executing the guards and you will be transported to the bayou. And this achievement will pop! Congratulations!

    Sequence 1 has a total of 9 memories.

    I wrote this guide as a simple checklist (click on the spoiler if you do not mind seeing the title or “subtitle” of the memory) to help you keep up with: what you have completed, how many memories you have left in the sequence, which memories have secondary objectives, and what those objectives are (so you can prepare before starting the next memory).

    To keep this solution clean and concise, I have not included hints for the secondary objectives. I wrote this to help in planning ahead (getting enough poison darts, bullets, or smoke bombs) to make the second objectives easier.
