  The credit for this should really lie with Calex dEUS and Mobius Evalon over at the 360 version of the game.
  
  Anyway... mild spoilers ahead.
  
  When you get to Shanty Town you will eventually meet up with Grim. But before you can reach him you will be ambushed by a host of dynamite throwing psychos. There will be 3 on the lower level and 1 above. The 1 above does not do anything so ignore him. Simply wait until you see one of the 3 on the lower level lighting his dynamite and then shoot him in the leg/arm with the pistol. He will drop the dynamite killing himself and one of his friends. If it doesn't work the first time (or your aim is too good and you get a headshot!) then reload checkpoint and try again.
  
  Note: Other weapons may work, but I tried the rope arrow methods about 30x and it did not.

  Can you just keep reloading the checkpoint after he kills his buddies?

  This must be bugged. Very sure I did this correctly multiple times, even killing three guys once or twice but it still wont pop. Tried again a few scenes later when running up to the windmill, still nothing

  This does not require Shanty Town! Just any area with dynamite guys (of which there are few).
  
  Like many others I missed on this. I was following a walk through guide which missed out on telling me about this achievement at Shanty Town. I was extremely annoyed but came across another area a lot later in the game which saved me!
  
  *Spoilers Ahead*
  
  Towards the end of your time in the Research Base area you will ambushed by some of Mathias' men after discovering the general's tomb. Two guys come out at first, immediately shoot the red fuel barrel to dispose of them. A few seconds later three guys will come out, two with bows and one with dynamite. By now you should know the different appearance of the dynamite guy. Track him alone and when you see him prepping dynamite, shoot him in the stomach (anywhere non-fatal). This causes him to drop the explsosive and kill himself and at least one of the other guys.
  
  Was so happy that I picked this up long after when you're supposed to, as far as I'm aware no one else has reported getting it in this area. Let me know if this worked!

  Right when your on your way to get alex right befor the Endurance, you will be in a building that has 3 stories and you fight enemies the whole way up. You will know your in the right building if the first floor had a shield guy you had to kill.
  
  Anyway on the second floor there will be a bunch of guys are shooting at you from the roof, they are in front of a red barrel, don't shoot it because lucky you, you have one of three guys up there with dynamite. Just wait for him to pull it out and shoot him with the assault rifle. He drops it, kills all three of them, and the barrel explodes for extra effect. Done. Achievement unlocked.
