You can get this achievement after completing the game, which kind of takes the pressure off don't you think?

I don't take credit for the solution although I can vouch for it, it is still exploitable in the Xbox One edition as shown in this guide: Solution for Deadeye in Tomb Raider

Go to Helicopter Hill. Re-establish the zip line as shown, and climb it. As soon as you see the baddies, jump back on the line and after dropping off, get ready to do some shooting! As long as you don't kill these guys on the platform (where they spawn and come at you from), but rather after they jump on the line, rinse and repeat as they spawn in twos!

    No second playthru required!

EDIT: Please read PiCkLE SQU1D's solution below if you are having trouble.
This info is included in the comments section and I should have updated my solution. Sorry!
Unfortunately, if you kill the enemies - on the platform - before completing the game, they will not respawn. The only solution is to start a new game. Sorry.

To clarify, if you kill the enemy while they are on the platform - they will not respawn. If you go to the platform, and let them follow you off of the platform - its a turkey shoot. Shoot them on the line or after they drop - no penalty. They will respawn every time you come to this area and follow the instructions to get them to respawn. However, if they die on the original platform anytime during the game, they will not respawn.

My tactic was to go to the platform the enemy spawns from, deploy and hop onto the zip line to the upper platform, turn around and hide. Shoot the enemy AFTER they had jumped up onto the line, never while they are on the platform.

psybOltOnI'm sure I cleaned the place while playing, but after finishing the game 100% and came back to this spot the enemies spawned and kept respawning.
I did a lot and died, then more than 10 again where they fell to their death, and when finally started to kill them on the rope with bow headshots got the achievement unlocked.
Thank you for the solution, great game but wouldn't want to start over.

x KinectNinja xIt does seem that only headshots count at helicopter hill. Killed like 20 of them there and no cheevo. Checked comments here then did 2 headshots and cheevo popped.

Please read the other solution if you're unclear of something.

NOTE: If the enemies were killed on this tower at any point in the game, you cannot do this method

    1) Fast travel to Helicopter Hill
    2) Connect the rope to the tower shown in the video.
    3) Now use the zipline and go up to the tower with 2 enemies.
    4) Immediately ride the zipline down.
    5) Hide behind the small structure and wait for them to come down the zipline. (They won't come if you are visible. You must be hidden from them.)
    6) Equip your bow and draw back on it all the way. Press cn_LB to slow down time, if you are having trouble. Only go for headshots! This is very important.

This achievement is really glitchy and it took me well over 50 kills to get. Once I realized nothing else was working, I used my bow, pulled back all the way on it, used cn_LB and went for headshots. Sure enough, after my 4th headshot, the achievement unlocked. Getting 10 headshots still might not unlock the achievement. Instead, go for 20 headshots before completely giving up on this method.

If the bow doesn't work, I've heard of people using a shotgun instead. This is more trickier to do though, as you need to time your shot almost perfectly.

Also, make sure that the enemies die while on the zipline. They will die, and it will look like they are floating in the air. This is also how you do the multiplayer achievement for killing an enemy on a zipline. It must be done while they are on the zipline, meaning headshot.

If neither of these methods work, try shooting the enemy once with a pistol then go for a headshot. Good luck :) Video credit by me.

Can this be done in multiplayer?

YOOPER 906Got some real nasty people on this site lmao. It's sad that people forgot how to talk to people with respect. They spend too much time on the internet and forgot what reality is.

Another solution that worked for me is in Shantytown when you're trying to rescue Grim.
It's the part when he tells you it's a trap. They'll be 4 enemies who zip line across 2 cables one after another.

Use your crossbow and try to get head shots. Once you've taken your shots at the 4 enemies, regardless of whether you hit or missed them, just jump down the platform to your death. Don't kill anyone else in that scene. As soon as you die, you'll be able to play the scene all over again.

These kills are cumulative even though you're replaying the same scene over and over again.
So you can keep playing this same scene until you get the achievement.

TREKWARS QFor those who are saying it doesn't work: Reloading a checkpoint doesn't work; you need to die and the counter keeps going. Also, some of the guys don't die from your shot; they die from the fall and that doesn't count. The guys that died on the line on my screen laid down and died in "midair." That's how I knew I got them. I had to die several times, but having that achievement pop was well worth it. Great solution.

z RagnaroK zWorked for me! I tried farming the section where they say "just fucking kill her" (didn't work) and instead used the part where Grim yells "It's a trap!". Use the shotgun and not the bow. You 100% don't need headshots. Make sure you are killing them once they are close enough. If you don't kill them, they will fall to their death which does not count. Pay attention to you XP counter and make sure that when you hit them with the shotgun they die immediately. Once you kill all zipliners, just jump off the tower to your death. The TR icon should appear in your bottom right indicating that the game has saved your progress (including zipline kills). Then repeat until the achievement pops.

Hope this helps! This one was quite the headache for me.

This can be easily done in your first and only playthru, during the campaign and not afterwards. I trick is seeing where. There are a few locations prior, but most of the chances will be in Shaunty Town. There are two large battles here, where there are 6-7 chances each time, as well as a final escape battle where there are 4-5 chance.

Here is where the trick comes in. Not really a trick. However, when you realize there are chances for this, RELOAD CHECKPOINT, since all of these battles come with check points just before them. Get as many as you can from the possibilities, and if you are missing, RELOAD until you get a decent amount that you are happy with.

THEY DO NOT HAVE TO BE HEADSHOTS. BOth my friend and I who recently got the achievement did not get all of them by headshot. In fact, the last one I got was NOT a headshot. And the rifle works best. I think the mistake with the headshots is you MUST kill them on the zipline, meaning, they must die while holding on, and not be knocked off and then die. Headshots do that, but so does a high damage rifle shot (mine were upgraded to the max possible at the time i did this)

But if you missed this the first go around, you can always try the other solutions.

    Piece and Happiness!
