this achievement is not about luck. an easy way to do this is to lower the catcher on the other team's stats. Once you get a player on 3rd base, press B to go into the baserunner mode. Send the runner home and once the screen goes into overhead view, press RS upwards to barrel over the catcher.

Ninja ScrollCan you use a 2nd controller for any of these achievements? Or does it have to be against the CPU because it doesnt stat it has to be the CPU in the achievement discription.

cwing302I don't think you can use 2 controllers. You can try, but if you do it the way I say it will definitely work.

Ninja ScrollAight, I did as you discribed and it worked on the 4th attempt. The achievement in glitched because the 1st 3 times I stole home plate by knocking the catcher on his ass it did not unlock. For whatever reason the 4th attempt unlocked it. Thanks for the solution.

M0NKEY R4NGERSo, my experience was quite weird. I think when I finally got it, the game glitched, but in my favor. I stole home with my runner and about halfway I pressed up on RS, and he stopped and like ran in a circle or something and slid but way to the side and then got up slowly jogged back towards third a little, then turned back around and ran towards the batter a little then to the plate and was called safe. While that was going on the catcher ended up turning a facing 1st base. Idk what happened here, but I ain't questioning it because I finally got the achievement. LOL

TheTraderGuyAfter stealing homes five times this week (and it not unlocking), I noticed that my save files were corrupted. So I deleted it now and got it on the first try.

A thread on a different website suggested having too many edited players confuzzled the 360; I can't confirm that but the pieces fit.

I also found the rundown much easier than knocking the catcher over (which I couldn't get to happen to save my life).
