How to unlock the Striking First achievement

    Actions
    This is the easiest way i have found,
    Play a game of Gardens & Graveyards
    Choose the Pea Shooter. Make sure you have the chili bean bomb and hyper abilities unlocked
    The plants are allowed to freely roam the map just before the game starts, while the zombies are locked behind doors.
    Use this opportunity to get as close as you can to the zombie spawn point,
    As soon as the match officially starts, press RB to activate hyper.
    Run all the way to the zombies and drop your chili bean.

    You need to have played on each map a few times to know where the spawns are.
    You should get first strike consistently this way, just be sure to hide behind something after dropping the chili bean as you will likely have a ton of zombies shooting you, and you can not get first blood if you are first blood.toast

    RPG LumiAnother way would be in Team Vanquish. I picked to be a Cactus and immediately spawned my Garlic Drone at the beginning of the match. I flew over towards where the Zombies were, shot a little and then used the Corn Strike when it became available. Took out 3 players at once and got First Strike x3. That way you don't run the risk of being shot/overrun from a mob at the very beginning of the match. You can also do this as a Zombie with the Engineer and using the Drone Bot's Cone Strike.

    This is for earning the first kill of a match.

    For this I recommend the Peashooter with haste to get to the enemy faster and the Chili Bean Bomb in combination with your basic attack to quickly unload on the first zombie (generally in a group) you see.

    I found a really really easy way.

    In any game mode if you start as a plant take the Chomper, then just go to the zone where the zombies start and dig close enough to eat one.

    I got 5 over 6 First blood medal doing this.
