Credit for this method goes to DigestedGolem, who posted the basics in the 2-3 star thread, and Zeh Marcoss who helped streamline the process. toast

If you're trying to boost this, you can definitely do it with as few as 3 players. It will take a while, of course, but it's a sure thing.

This must be done in the Online World Cup.

If you have alts, it'll be easier since it takes a lot of games. The good news is that one way or another, quit-outs count.

Remember as you go through this to use teams that will let you earn these at the same time:
2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilWHO won the FIFA World Cup™?!The WHO won the FIFA World Cup™?! achievement in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil worth 259 pointsWin the FIFA World Cup™ with a 0.5 - 1.5 star team
    2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilThat's A Surprise!The That's A Surprise! achievement in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil worth 186 pointsWin the FIFA World Cup™ with a 2 - 3 star team
2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilDark Horse SuccessThe Dark Horse Success achievement in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil worth 83 pointsWin the FIFA World Cup™ with a 3.5 - 4 star team
    and this will pop automatically:
2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilThe Glory Of A NationThe The Glory Of A Nation achievement in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil worth 36 pointsWin the Online FIFA World Cup™

You can also pick a team to help you win this one (just look for a team that has a terrible community average, since 3 opponent quit-outs will net you a goal differential of +9, since forfeits count as 3-0 wins). It will pop after the Group Stage.
2014 FIFA World Cup BrazilBetter Than Your AverageThe Better Than Your Average achievement in 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil worth 64 pointsBeat the Community average finish with a 0.5 - 2.5 star team

    Here's the step-by-step:

At every step, make sure that Players A, B and C are the SAME LEVEL. Don't play 2.5 stars vs. 3 stars or 2 stars; they won't match as easily. When matching, make sure that both players change the search settings (3rd choice down) to Manual and search at the same time. It'll be obvious if you match. If you don't, remember that a 2-1 record will still pretty much guarantees a pass-through, so quit on your opponent and give them an easy win.

The basic idea is for the players to keep losing to A (by quitting), and then pushing each other up the ladder. It will take 14 games for each person to win the Cup once. Here's the process for all three to get their first Cups:

    1) A over B.
    2) A over C. C forfeits the tournament, restarting from the beginning at 0-0.

    That's an important step.

    3) B over A. A is into the Round of 16 at 2-1, B is 1-1 and C is 0-0.
    4) B over C. B advances at 2-1, C is 0-1.
    5) A over B (Round of 16). B is 0-0, C is 0-1.
    6) C over B. C is 1-1, B forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.

***Notice this pattern: every time the 2 teams in the group are at 1-1 and 0-1, the 0-1 team should forfeit to advance faster. It's a waste of time for a team to go to 2 losses.***

    7) C over B. C advances at 2-1, B is 0-1.
    8) A over C (Quarters). B is 0-1, C is 0-0.
    9) B over C. B is 1-1, C forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    10) B over C. B advances (2-1), C is 0-1.
    11) A over B (Semis).
    12) C over B. C is 1-1, B forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    13) C over B. C advances, B is 0-1.
    14) A wins the Cup. A is 0-0, B is 0-1, C is 0-0.

IF YOU ARE SOLO BOOSTING... you may want to switch to a different rated team to work toward another achievement. If so, all teams must be the same level, so reset everyone.

IF YOU ARE GROUP BOOSTING... follow these steps through, and when the third person gets it, begin at 1. If just boosting Cups for the 5x achievement, the person at 0-1 will be the next winner (B in this case).

B will now win the Cup.

    15) B over A.
    16) B over C. B advances, A is 0-1, C is 0-1.
    17) C over A. C is 1-1, A forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    18) C over A. C advances, A is 0-1.
    19) B over C (R of 16).
    20) A over C. A is 1-1, C forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    21) A over C. A advances, C is 0-1.
    22) B over A (Quarters).
    23) C over A, A forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    24) C over A, C advances, A is 0-1.
    25) B over C (Semis).
    26) A over C. A is 1-1, C forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    27) A over C. A advances, C is 0-1.
    28) B wins the Cup. A is 0-0, B is 0-0, C is 0-1.

C will now win the Cup.

    29) C over B. A is 0-0, B is 0-1, C is 1-1.
    30) C over A. C advances.
    31) A over B. A is 1-1, B forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    32) A over B. A advances, B is 0-1.
    33) C over A (R of 16).
    34) B over A. B is 1-1. A forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    35) B over A. B advances, A is 0-1.
    36) C over B (Quarters).
    37) A over B. A is 1-1, B forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    38) A over B. A advances, B is 0-1.
    39) C over A (Semis).
    40) B over A. B is 1-1, A forfeits the tournament, and is 0-0.
    41) B over A. B advances, A is 0-1.
    42) C wins the Cup. A is 0-1, B is 0-0, C is 0-0.

Repeat these 14 steps to get the next person the Cup.

    Good hunting! toast

SashamorningNo, I was wrong. 14 wins at every level.

Zeh MarcossYou did a great job for sure, 14 steps for each player to win the tournament once, totaling a full cycle in 42 steps, with 12 forfeits in the process. I think this is the most efficient way possible. toast

However, with the method I had posted before, the first player will take 15 steps, but now I realized that following the same principle used, the second player would only need 13 steps, and the third will again need another 15, totaling a full cycle in 43 steps, but in a slightly simpler way for me, considering that only 3 forfeits will be needed in te process.

But one way or another, I think the guide is really excellent. Congrats!

Just for those unclear on this achievement as the description is poorly worded

It unlock for me on my 5th win in the online world cup, havent confirmed if this works offline if it does leave a comment and ill update the solution

My 5 wins where with Japan, Belgium, Colombia, England and Germany, so i cant confirm if it unlocks with winning the world cup 5 times with the same team but im pretty sure it would

To give yourself the best chance of winning choose a 5 star team and adapt them to your style as each squad has around 40-50 players to choose, my style is pace and passing in a 3-5-2 formation as im a very good defender, but i would suggest to play a formation with 4 at the back (4-2-3-1, 4-2-2-2 or 4-4-2 diamond wide) are decent

I found the following teams to be useful -

Belgium - Pace combine with strength all round the pitch, very good D and a very good offense
Colombia - Sheer pace you can form a team with the slowest guy at 82 pace
England - Again sheer pace, but also contains very good finishers and has Kyle Walker (92 pace Dman)
Brazil - Sheer pace you can form a team with the slowest attackers at 85 pace, boost numerous defenders with 75 pace or more and also has the best tandem of defensive midfielders in Ramires and Luiz Gustavo or you can use Paulinho
Germany - Excellent attack lack on defense though
Argentina - Easily the best attack in the game, need to be good defensively as the defense isnt highly rated neither is there GK
Portugal - A Good all round team

I haven't tested the following teams - Spain (World Number 1)

I didnt like France or Netherlands and i would avoid them unless you are confident in your FIFA skills

There are also some good 4.5 and 4 star teams if you have above average skill at FIFA, if you find a decent them add them to the comments and let us know why

But my main advice would be to scroll through the teams who interest you in Kick off and find a team you like practice with them and then go online and win (5 times) :))

And remember when you get in the lead in a game and wont to hold on hit the dpad left twice to switch to ultra defensive, it sends a msg for your Dman to stay back

Any questions ill be happy to answer them
