The easiest way (in my opinion) to get this is on a Hardpoint mission. Even marginal players (like myself) should be able to pull it off. The reason Hardpoint is the easiest, is because kills don't count for your final score. It depends on the number of Hardpoints that you capture or defend.

When the match starts, IMC will spawn nearest to Hardpoint C, and the Militia will be near Hardpoint A. Typically everyone will charge the one neares their spawn, or will try to make it to take the furthest Hardpoint from the other team. At mission start, I try to get to Hardpoint B as fast as possible, and I'm usually there and unmolested for at least a minute before an opponent makes it over to me.

Once the Hardpoint is captured, camp on it and you'll earn 25 points about every 15 seconds. I'm not too sure on how fast the points stack, but you'll see a message "+25 Hardpoint Defense" below the center of your HUD when you score points.

The thing that makes this easy is the lack of communication that goes on in the matches. Of all the games I've played I think I've only been in a room with players communicating tactics twice. Because of this, you'll likely only face opponents one at a time, and since you're camping you should have the upper hand. If things start getting too hairy on the Hardpoint you're trying to defend though, switch to another one.

For further recommendations, the map I found the easiest to defend was Hardpoint B on Boneyard. The other two hardpoints on this map are wide open where Titans can get in and make captures, so this tends to be where most of the action takes place.

For loadout on this map (or any other hardpoint that is inside a smaller room) I recommend the shotgun and the Radar Tactical gear. The satchel charges are also useful, and place them at the two entrances to the room, or choose whichever ordinance package you're comfortable with. Sit to the back of the room on top of the ledge, and use the Radar Pulse as it becomes available to try and detect enemies that are approaching your position.

When you get a titanfall, drop the Titan outside one of the entrances to the room as set it to guard mode, and listen for the AI to tell you when it is engaging enemy titans or pilots, as this will notify you that you're about to have company from that direction.

Usually by the end of the match I've got in the neighborhood of 1500 points for defense, and around 550 for assault. It may require two or three matches before you're the only one on your team that knows how to play the mode, but most people are going to concentrate more on running and gunning to collect kills.

I also think that you can get this achievement while on the losing team since the map stats count MVP awards when I was on the losing team. If anyone can confirm this I will give them credit.
