    I thought trying to rush through the levels as fast as possible to get to the lower levels would help but this just hindered me as the more and more enemies showed up and made it a lot harder to do.

    Take your time is key to netting you this achievement. On each level make your way to the power-ups. I can't stress how luck based this can be on how early in a play you can get this. I was trying and got to level 15 with only 200'000 points but when I netted this achievement, I was only on level 10 with over 3 Million points. Always go for the multipliers first. The more you have the easier it will be to get your high score. Save the Invincibility and Bomb power-ups for creating chain combos. When I got the achievement I lucked out by getting 3 multiplier power-ups on the first level (Level 5)

    This is how I did this I spent enough time to the point where the current level was running out of enemies. When it did I would then go down to the next level. You get more points a lot more points in chain mode so when you can activate it by reaching x50 ( sometimes easiest when you bomb a big group of enemies ) Then once active just try to keep it going. If there is a big enough set of enemies use a missile or a bomb to get you a big boost in points.

    ALWAYS and I mean always go for the enemies that shoot first these can be your worst nightmare is getting caught out in the middle of nowhere with a stray shot that you direct yourself into. I found this the most annoying way to die when I flew myself into them. Another hint for keeping up your maximum combo is do not blow up the red corkscrew enemies, these are slow enough for you to keep a good distance with while keep hitting them in a straight line to keep up your chain going while searching around for the next set of enemies or the whole to the next level.

    Lastly I would always suggest keep a close eye on your times. If you spend too long on a level without getting any time boost it can hinder you in levels below while searching. When your time reaches 20/25 seconds go to the level below and start collecting the time as fast as possible.

    Patience and a keen eye are key.

    BigLanceLSI got this achievement following the tips in this guide with a couple additional strategies which I found to be helpful.

    First, change the color scheme so that it isn't rotating. There is one background in particular that is pretty reddish, making the red enemies and bullets harder to see.

    I collected all powerups at the lower levels prior to hitting the portal, however after a few levels, you are best just to just hit portals when you are near them, even if you haven't cleared all the powerups. When your screen is full of enemies those powerups can really come in handy.

    MOST IMPORTANTLY
    I got this achievement while also going for the 15 second combo. If you haven't watched the video for how to get that achievement, then do it now. The key to this achievement is the combos. Essentially:
    -Shoot red enemies to keep the chain alive
    -new enemies will appear on-screen while in the slo-mo time
    -shoot the new enemies to rack up the big points
    -go back to shooting the red enemy until another wave of enemies shows up

    BuckswanaWorked great. Need a little luck with the early multipliers, then getting some good combos/chains going. Definitely a little random and luck based as well; went from a 50k game to 3mil the next.

    Here is the Game DVR video for the run in which I popped this achievement.

    Some tips I can share for how I approached this run:

    - Much like Flarus Dragon1 suggested, do not run through the levels quickly. Instead focus on getting multiplier power ups (these are random drops) and chain reaction combos. You'll notice in the video I get lucky and have a 5x multiplier by the time I get to level 7. I spend a lot of time on this level as I am able to rack up a good chain reaction combo to jump my score up to almost 1.4 million.

    - Save your missiles for when you absolutely need them. I used missiles to get myself out of trouble in a couple of spots. This is going to be critical if you are not the greatest twin-stick player like myself.

    - Focus on getting chain reaction multipliers with a high multiplier combo. You'll notice I break the 2 million point barrier with the last chain reaction combo when I have a 6x multiplier. Chain reaction events with a high multiplier send the points flying to your score.

    - Patience is key. Replaying is key. Especially if you are not an expert at twin-stick shooters. Don't get frustrated. A lot of this is luck based if you get the multiplier random drops at the front of your session.

    I was having a hard time with this... But found a Quick way to get it. I was trying to go for the level 20 achievement (not realizing it has to be done in 60 mode) and got it.

    I used the Pause/Unpause method

    Just pause the game to see whats coming and unpause really fast (keep doing it over and over) and just take your time moving around the map. I kept picking up missiles and dropping them when it got tight. Picked up the multipliers when i could. Took no time at all.

    Got it on my second shot trying this method. Rarely used my weapon and mainly used missles and bombs to deal with everyone. The only time I used my weapon was when a chain reaction was happening but even then it was limited. I finished with just over 4.5 million on wave 10.
