Battlefield 4 Achievement BoostingHey everybody! So if you're looking at this you're probably just looking for tips on specific challenges/the online achievements, or you're starting fresh. (And if you're starting pretty much fresh if not from scratch you're gonna love me here.) That being said me and a team just finished boosting the online to this game and it took us under a week to do so minus time spent on maps. I had to make comprehensive notes throughout so I figured i'd do a bit more work and make a guide on how to boost the online.
That being said, im not offering any tips on how to play better online, or how to unlock things legitimately. This is going to be a explanation on how to effectively BOOST this game.
Please do not downvote if you're going to complain "Just do it legitimately" or if you are having difficulties. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. This is a website with guides on how to get the achievements. This is an effective way to do so, and if you don't wish to boost then by all means, but there are some of us that want to complete the game in little time or have no real interest in the title and wish to move on to our next projects. That being said, I appreciate any support anyone has for this.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- We Rented a Server for this. If you have a group dedicated to doing 5-8 hours a night, you can easily accomplish everything this way. Go to Multiplayer > My Rented Servers > Rent a Server (7 Days) and it'll cost you roughly $6.99 (Price was Canadian Amount)
- Before you start, you WILL want to play legitimately a bit. Don't forget before you spawn you can hit X to trigger your boosts for extra XP that you get awarded for being Premium or getting battlepacks. You want to be at least Level 10 when you start as everything with the DLC Assignments are at least Level 10. You WILL need to be Level 20 by the time you get around to some of the later ones. But that's where some of the boosts you have while it's your turn to kill will come in handy, as well as running objectives, staying in points, etc. By the time we were essentially done boosting all of this with almost no leveling (Starting at Level 13 from Legitimate Play) I was level 24, and all that was left was the 10 wins on each map for the Final Assault DLC and the 10 hours which I had quite a bit of time in.
- A slight tip to those who need to level who might not be all that good at the game or dont want to do it boosting with people levels to 10 or 20. Play TDM as a Recon and get the MAV. Just hide in the map somewhere, use the MAV and go high up and start spamming RB to tag all the enemies. You'll get crazy assist points for helping your teammates. If you get a Double XP weekend plus your boosts? Even better. Shoulden't take you long at all to get to 10.
- Check the Pre-Requisites of every challenge to ensure no wasted time.
- Any special weapons on the map (IE the Rorsch and EOD Bot etc) show up on the map as briefcases with a star on them.
- I am more than happy if you choose to Copy & Paste this into a notepad and use it as a boosting tool. If you wish to share to other sites feel free but please put a "Thanks to Mikhail Krauser for the Guide" somewhere in the post.
- Each Assignment I have included notes for. Be VERY AWARE of the VANGUARD Assignment in Dragon's Teeth as it has 20 Suppresion Assists as a Reward Requirement. We had issues with this and we figured it out so READ CAREFULLY.
- You can go to:
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/ and log in to check your Assignments between games. It updates after a match finishes (you cannot just simply quit matches, or if you guys get disconnected all progress in that round is lost.)
- We did this with 4 people. I will often reference how 4 people will boost it, but of course you can adapt with more. YOU REQUIRE AT LEAST 4 PEOPLE TO START A MATCH. If someone drops out you can continue to the end with 3 people, but will be stuck waiting after. Nothing counts in the "Waiting" portion of the beginning of a match.
- And keep in mind, you can switch teams by being dead, going to Team Management (Y) and clicking in your thumbstick. This allows for quicker kills for kill boosting, as well as only 4 people being necessary for the Bomb Ribbons later.
- The one downfall of my guide is that I don't remember certain unlocks for certain weapons and gadgets that you might need. That being said i'll try and look through and figure out how to unlock it all, but if I don't, keep in mind that you CAN kill someone and take their pack if they have it unlocked and equipped and get them that way.
- Also, I recommend everyone find a place to meet up on the map like a specific point (IE [C]) and have both teams plant radio beacons inside of buildings there (eliminates the parachuting and spawns you on ground) so you guys can meet immediately again after death.

Prerequisite: Rank 10

Even though this states the Prerequisite, wait till Level 20 to unlock this. You will have to unlock another Assignment anyways that will require you to bomb people in the bomber so skip it for now.
EYES IN THE SKY
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Air Superiority ribbon 0/1
- Jet Fighter ribbon 0/3
For the Air Superiority Ribbon, you just have to play and win a round of Air Superiority. If anyone has a win on this gametype already, in game before you spawn click Team Management (Y) to bring up the teams, then click in your Right Thumbstick to switch teams. Then have the 1 person with the win on the losing team and the others on the winning and capture the points and let the time run, or work on:
The Jet Fighter ribbons require you to get 6 kills in a jet in a round. Have the bulletsponge fly in a straight line, use your two auto-lock missles on him, spray with the Machine Gun a bit and if need be use the missles again.
OPEN FIRE
Prerequisite: Rank 10
Must Get Assault Ribbon's before your "In A Round"
- Assault ribbon 0/3
- In a round: a kill with pistol, a kill with 40mm grenade, and a kill with the defibrillator. 0/0/0
You NEED to get the 3 Assault Ribbons before attempting the second part of the Accolade. This is done with 6 kills from an Assault Rifle in a round. 18 Kills in a row and you're golden.
AFTER you get the 3 Assault Ribbons, use the Assault Class and make sure you're geared up with a Pistol (Not the Shorty shotgun as it does not count), the M320 HE (that's your 40mm GL), and the Defibrillator (Your third unlock, you have to charge these fully before you hit someone with them and wait till you hear that whine... Approximately 5 seconds)
MAKE A DENT
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Destroy an air vehicle with portable AA 0/1
- Anti-Vehicle Ribbon 0/3
Portable AA's are like "The Stinger" that locks onto helicopters and fires a locked missile. Just get one kill/heli destroyed.
Anti-Vehicle Ribbons are just destroying 2 vehicles. These will come automatically boosting other stuff so don't worry about it at all.
POWDER KEG
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Get 1 Mortar kill 0/1
- LMG ribbon 0/3
The mortar is unlocked a little ways into the Support Class. That being said, you have two options. Either A) Work on other stuff while playing Support until you unlock it... Or B) Hopefully one of your boosters has the Mortar unlocked. Simply have them equip it, kill them, and pick up their loadout. Hit left or right on the DPAD to pull it out and you're good to go.
LMG Ribbon's are gained by getting 6 kills with an LMG in one Round.
NEED ONLY ONE
Must Get Sniper Ribbon's before the "In A Round"
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Sniper ribbon 0/3
- In a round: a kill with a shotgun, a kill with a DMR, and a kill with C4. 0/0/0
Sniper Ribbon is 6 kills with a sniper in a round.
Spawn as a Sniper, get a kill with a shotgun, switch to DMR or pick it up off of someone you killed and get a kill, then toss a C4 (Left or right on the DPAD then right trigger to toss) and detonate it with LT.
MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS
Prerequisites: Rank 10, SAFE RAIDING REQUIRED TO UNLOCK THIS
- Get 15 kills with the bombing raid 0/15
- Destroy an enemy bomber 0/1
Even though this says Level 10, wait till Level 20 to save time as another Assignment requires this as well. Bombing raids are when you go into a little hut and take control of a bomber from high up and can launch either 4 little bombs (when you hit RT you wont hear anything but I assure you if you look at the bottom right your ammo will go down. It takes a while to reach target and you may see target designators for this) or a Cruise Missile but I don't recommend it. The maps for this are either Silk Road in the China Rising DLC, or better yet Operation Whiteout (F? It's a submarine sticking out of the ice.) in Final Stand. I found Final Stand better as [C] is higher up, the white of the snow makes it easier to see the targets. You can zoom in with LT while you're in the ship, but i'd allow you to get a bit closer but not over your targets as firing from far away provides an angle and sometimes will miss your targets even if it was seemingly a direct hit versus dropping them on the party.
Destroying a bomber can be troublesome. Essentially when you guys are doing this, have the guy about to spawn in the Bomber tell you he's ready and two of you go to the side of the map it spawns with Jets. When close tell him to get in. When it comes into view both of you fire your missles and have the bomber call out his damage as you circle around. If he's above 50, have the other jet hit him with rockets again and have at'er with yours and finish up with your minigun. If below, have the guy do some machine gun fly by with you, have the bomber stop him at 20% and use your rockets. I suggest the opposite map for this Silk Road in China Rising.
MULTI TALENT
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- In a round: a kill with a sniper rifle, a kill with an assault rifle, a kill with an LMG, and a kill with a hand grenade. 0/0/0/0
Spawn as an assault, get your assault rifle and grenade kills, switch to an LMG and if you can't switch to Support, get an LMG kill, then either pick up a sniper loadout from your victim or switch to a sniper and take him down. That simple.
I'M DYNAMITE
Prerequisites: Rank 20, EYES IN THE SKY IS REQUIRED
- Bomber Delivery ribbon 0/3
- Get 20 UCAV kills 0/20
- Score a multikill
Alright this one's a little crappy. So a Bomber Delivery ribbon is by killing 3 people per round in a bomber (See why I made you guys wait for the others?) So you'll get 9 kills (if boosting with 3 others) easily by getting the 3 ribbons and can mop up your other 6 with two more fly bys.
The UCAV... Oh boy... It's in the Support Class. I don't remember if you needed to unlock this or if it was just unlocked but ill update this later. Either unlock it or kill someone and pick up their pack with it equipped. Don't try using it to get kills. Have everyone group together with two people beside eachother and one in between them but still slightly behind them and plant the tube down so it's pretty much in all their faces. Fire and it should either roadkill or preferably detonate immediately and kill all three.
The multikill will happen with the bomber delivery so dont worry about it.
MIDDLE KING
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Play 10 hours of China Rising 0/10
- Get a kill streak of 5 0/5
- Get a kill with SUAV 0/1
Not much I can say here. You can idle in the lobbies that you rent, or play legitimately. I hate when people tell me to play legitimately but there's no making this faster. If you have time on your servers everyone ready up, jump in, and let Conquest run the full hour on a China Rising map. Do this 10 times and that's done.
The 5 kill streak is going to happen no matter what if you're boosting so don't worry about it.
SUAV is easy too. Grab the Sniper Class and have the opponent stand in front of you and throw it through them for a roadkill. Not sure if it needs to be unlocked but if so just wait till you level a bit more, or have someone equip it, kill them and steal their pack.

Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Activate the floodgates on the Sunken Dragon Map 0/1
- Get 5 Kills while swimming 0/5
Very easy for both. Get on the Sunken Dragon map and meet in [A]. It SHOULD be flooded. If not go to step two. Just swim around and shoot people for the kills.
To activate the floodgates, you'll see from [A] a stone tower with stair cases around it and lights with a windowed office at the top. Go up there and in the room is a button. Hit it.
LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- While on foot as Assault, kill 10 Support enemies who are also on foot 0/10
- While on foot as Assault, kill 10 Engineer enemies who are also on foot 0/10
- While on foot as Assault, kill 10 Recon enemies who are also on foot 0/10
Getting your ribbons you should get these naturally. If not, they're self explanatory. No running or anything needed to be clear.
NOT THE WEAKEST LINK
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- 2 PDW Ribbons 0/2
- Link 10 points in Chainlink 0/10
- Get "Squad Order Followed" 10 times 0/10
PDW Ribbons are for 6 kills in one round with a PDW weapon (Support has them, if not Engineer's do)
Linking in Chainlink we waited till the end for, and I partially recommend it. You essentially grab a point on the map like conquest but don't get points till two points are "linked" or touching. You'll see when you start. That being said, this is where number 3 comes in:
To get the Get "Squad Order Followed" 10 times, you need the head of your Squad to RB to a point (IE Attack Point [A]) and you need to follow through. ONLY the Squad leader can issue orders and his "subordinents" can get this Squad Order Followed Ribbons. That being said if the Squad Leader needs the ribbons. Just hit Start, go to Team Management, Leave Squad then rejoin and someone else will be Squad Leader and will do the same for you. Do this WITH the Chainlinks.
THE 'I' IN TEAM
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- 2 Sniper Rifle Ribbons 0/2
- 10 Radio Beacon spawns 0/10
- 20 Spot Assists 0/20
Sniper Rifle Ribbons are 6 kills in a round.
The Sniper class has a Radio that gets unlocked in gadgets. All you do is put one down, and it acts as a spawn point. Have everyone spawn off of it. Also plant this in a building... Reason being is that if it's indoors you'll spawn right there, if there's open air above it you'll parachute in.
Spot assists can be done with the ribbons for the sacrifice of one of your 4 boosters being meatfodder. All you do is spot the guy with RB, while whoever is getting kills, kills him. That simple.
VANGUARD
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- 5 Savior Kills 0/5
- 20 Suppression Assists 0/20
- Destroy 3 Explosives 0/3
For Savior kills, just have an opposing team member shoot your buddy in the leg, once or twice and kill him.
HERE IS AN IMPORTANT ONE SO PAY ATTENTION: Suppression Assists gave us a hard time until we figured out why. SUPRESSION ASSISTS are different from SQUAD SUPRESSION ASSISTS. That being said, what you do is go to Start, Team Options, and you and your teammate leave the squad and become lone wolves. After that, the person needing the ribbon get an LMG or other gun... Or more preferably park a vehicle with a turret nearby to not worry about ammo, then the opposing player lie down next to a wall. When all is good you fire above their heads. The opposing player will start seeing lights get brighter and a fuzz appear on the screen. This means they're being surpressed... Then having your teammate pop em one and bam, one done.
Destroying 3 explosives just comes down to letting someone put down C4 or Claymores and shooting/grenading them.
ROAD WARRIOR
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- 10 Capture Point Attacker kills 0/10
- 10 Capture Point Defender kills 0/10
- 25 kills with shotguns 0/25
If you guys are at a point (IE [C]) and boosting while the opposing team spawns in on a Radio Beacon, you guys will get this no matter what
Shotgun kills are self explanatory.
REMOTE OPERATOR
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Destroy a vehicle with the EOD bot 0/1
- Get 5 kills with the RAWR 0/5
- Get 10 kills with the Mortar 0/10
- Spot 20 targets with the MAV 0/20
The EOD bot can be either accessed by high level engineers or it's found just to the right of [B] on Sunken Dragon in the alley between the large building and smaller one. Use it like a torch against a vehicle with someone in it (gotta be basically touching the vehicle) and bam.
The RAWR
The mortar is unlocked a little ways into the Support Class. That being said, you have two options. Either A) Work on other stuff while playing Support until you unlock it... Or B) Hopefully one of your boosters has the Mortar unlocked. Simply have them equip it, kill them, and pick up their loadout. Hit left or right on the DPAD to pull it out and you're good to go.
The MAV is unlocked by the Recon class and is able to disable equipment and tag targets with RB. Just keep tagging the boosters later on while you're 1 v 3 and it'll come or use my method of legitimate play to rank up when you're bore (IE TDM MAV tagging for XP)
RECOIL KINETICS
Prerequisite: Rank 10, BIG SPLASH
- Get 20 headshots with the Unica 6 0/20
You unlock the Unica 6 from the BIG SPLASH Assignment. Just equip the pistol and get 20 headshots.
KILLJOY
Prerequisite: Rank 10, RECOIL KINETICS
- Get 10 kills while under 30 health 0/10
- Break 30 enemy links in Chainlink 0/30
- Win a round of Chainlink with 50 tickets left 0/1
For the under 30 health. Have the three guys on the opposing team group up, have one of them shoot you in the leg with a pistol 3 times then cap em all.
Breaking the links are fairely easy and boostable while linking for the other Assignment. Just have for example [A] + [B] + [C] Captured, and run into [B] until the link is severed... have the opposing player take it back (no need to fully cap just make it neutral) and keep doing that. Im not sure if im 100% correct but because you're severing 2 spots I believe you are rewarded with 2 Broken Links versus just doing let's say [B] + [C]
The 50 tickets left I personally had to do twice, but you have to be UNDER 50 tickets and still win. Again Sunken Dragon was convenient as it's fairely small in scale. Just have the opposing team cap them all, start capping near the 200 mark, let it tick to close to 50 and then cap the rest and let the game run out and you'll win by eliminating their tickets.
CITY SLICKER
Prerequisite: Rank 20
- Play 10 hours of Dragon's Teeth 0/10
- Get 100 kills on Dragon's Teeth maps 0/100
Once again, being Level 20 is a start but just get 100 kills. Then how you idle the time is up to you, if boosting and sitting there just load up conquest and let the match finish and bam, 1 hour done.

- Affect 10 enemies with M84 Flashbangs 0/10
- Get 3 melee kills 0/3
Equip the flashbang and toss it at your friends/foe's. Easy enough but give them warning, especially if it's late at night... My eyes still haven't recovered.
Melee (RS) 3 enemies.
EYE SPY
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Get 2 Spotting Ribbons 0/2
- Get 20 DMR or Carbine Kills 0/20
You can Spot with RB, in order to get a ribbon, spot an enemy player, then have your teammate kill them 5 times.
Simple enough, just get 20 kills with any DMR or Carbine
XD-1 DEATHBRINGER
[Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Get 30 kills with the XD-1 Accipiter 0/30
- Travel 3km in the XD-1 Accipiter 0/3000
The XD-1 Accipiter spawns on two maps. Near [C] and the Solar Panels on Operation Whiteout, or on [F]'s roof on Hanger 21 (Where the Launch Pods are). I'd recommend get the kills on whiteout and while you're all using pods or if time needs to be wasted, grab it and fly in a straight line as far as you can go then turn back.
SNOWMOBILE SLAYER
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Get 10 Roadkills with the Snowmobile 0/10
- Get 5 Minutes of Air Time in the Snowmobile 0/300
The snowmobile is a bit iffy with hit detection. I suggest have the boosters line up behind you and just back straight up.
As far as the 5 minutes of airtime? You need to boost wins and of course idle your time. Don't waste a round doing this, wait till you're in mop-up/time killing mode or when you're not necessary and jump off cliffs with it.
HOVER TANK HARBINGER
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Destroy 15 vehicles with the HT-95 Levkov 0/15
- Spend 10 Minutes in the HT-95 Levkov 0/600
The HT-95 Levkov is a Hover Tank. It is located after capturing [B] on Operation Whiteout. Easily blow up people on Snowmobiles by hitting the snowmobile and not them to get your vehicle kills.
10 Minutes in the HT-95 Levkov is just that... Sitting in it. You'll get progress while going for kills, and typically for anything to count you have to wait the round out by capturing all points on Conquest. So just sit while you wait for matches to finish.
RAILGUN RAMPAGE
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Destroy 10 vehicles with the Rorsch Mk-1 0/10
- Get 25 kills with the Rorsch Mk-1 0/25
The Rorsch MK-1 spawns between [A] & [E] on Operation Whiteout. The kills are simple, hold the trigger and it'll fire after being charged.
For vehicle kills {if boosting}, I found it most efficient to have someone spawn as a Recon and plant a respawn beacon in a house at location [C] (this removes the parachuting in and spawns you inside of the building). Jump on a Snowmobile which respawns at [C], park in front of me, hit (A) on the controller which'll force you to sit on the back of the snowmobile (Avoids a bit of the splash damage from the rifle's explosion which resulted in some of us dying but vehicle being fine). From there, I would aim at the front of the snowmobile where the pushbar connects to the frame, and fire 3 times to blow up the snowmobile.
MECHANIZED MAYHEM
Prerequisite: Rank 10
- Get 25 Kills with the Schipunov 42 0/25
- Spend 5 minutes in the air with the Launch Pod 0/300
The Shipunov 42 are Stationary Turrets that fire like a Shotgun. Easiest to boost these at (C) on Operation Whiteout.
The Launch Pod's can be found on the map Hangar 21. They are giant cannons on [F]. If Boosting, just shoot straight upwards and allow yourself to drop all the way. You will take 15% damage but not die and can re-fire right away.
FROSTBITE
Prerequisite: Rank 20
Play 10 hours of Final Stand 0/10
Win 10 rounds on Operation Whiteout 0/10
Win 10 rounds on Hammerhead 0/10
Win 10 rounds on Hanger 21 0/10
Win 10 rounds on Giants of Karelia 0/10
If you've purchased a server, the easiest way to get these knocked out is by putting in rotation Capture the Flag on each map. It is easily the quickest way to get wins by running the flag. To make it simpler if people will idle, have 3 people on one team, and 1 on the other (if someone has wins even better) and just keep running for the wins.
By the time I was done this method and 4 player boosting I had 6 hours played on these maps. Again, all you can really do is spawn in and idle. I have never been kicked for inactivity oddly enough, so not sure how that's effected unfortunately but we've boosted for hours with no kicks between just us four.
In order for time to count you MUST DEPLOY. If you walk away and just sit in the deployment screen time will not count.
