How to unlock the Scrooge achievement

    *This is a Metro 2033 achievement*

    This will be easier on Spartan mode because you will have a lot more ammo and will not need to buy anything. I only bought a couple of weapons through the game and saved most of my buying/money achievements for Polis. Be sure to loot everything and if you find a safe, look for the key close by. I got 1000 in the mission "Front Line". The safe at the end of the mission gave me 150 military grade bullets so it really helps to stop and look for the key if you find a safe laying around.

    If you go for an achievement like the trade 500 bullets achievement, reload the checkpoint when you are done to keep your military grade ammo.

    **Note** This achievement is getting reports of being buggy and not unlocking.
    The reason for this is currently unknown.

    BiGPaPaRuIs there a specific point where you need to have this? I was able to reach 1000+ on the way to the tower but no pop. Do I need this before I leave D6 or Polis?

    Fuzzmeister JIt should have popped. Does it show up 100% on your progress? I could just be live taking it's time to update.

    KhimarhiI also didn't get this and it's showing 0% progress. I ended my survival play through with 1287. I will check back in next couple days to see if it unlocks. +1 for the solution though

    KhimarhiMine finally unlocked after 3 days. I got a couple dozen other achievements in the mean time. So, for anyone else who doesn't get the unlock just check back in a couple days.

    koobz2142In D6, you will go down an elevator and your leader will say "this place is disgusting" at the end of that ride, there is a truck with 200+ ammo in it. JSYK
