Since the changes to the tutorial level this achievement is slightly harder to obtain.

There are 3 steps to getting this achievement normally in survival mode:

    1. Craft a bow.
    2. Craft/get arrows.
    3. Find a creeper and kill it.

The first thing you will need if you don't have one is a crafting table. You need 4 planks of wood (any type is fine). Once you have chopped a tree and gotten the wood you will need to convert it to planks. Once that is done you can then craft the table.

Once the table is complete the next step is to craft a bow. For a bow you will need some sticks and 3 pieces of string. Sticks can come from any wood source again, once you have enough wood convert them to sticks at the crafting table. String is a common drop from spiders which come out at night and are easily seen from a distance by their glowing red eyes. Once you have the sticks and string craft your bow. Alternatively skeleton archers also occasionally drop a bow as well although its usually in bad shape.

The third and hardest part is crafting arrows. For arrows you needs sticks which are abundant but you also need flint and feathers which are harder to come by. The easiest way to get flint is to mine gravel but it is still a relatively rare drop probably around 10%. Gravel is usually found near/in a water source. For feathers the easiest way to get them early on is by killing chickens. Chickens and other animals usually spawn in high grass areas so look for them there. You can also get wood and build a fence around a high grass area to try and capture chicken spawns. Alternatively, skeleton archers commonly drop arrows so as long as you can kill them its significantly easier to get arrows this way.

Once you have a few arrows you are ready to hunt. Creepers are a common spawn at night but they don't make any obvious audio cues. Just look around and you should be able to find one. Remember to keep your distance because if they get too close they will explode and it will not count. Usually takes 3-4 arrows to kill a creeper.

In order to unlock this achievement, you will need a bow, which can be crafted with:

    - 3 Sticks: You can craft 4 sticks with two wood planks.

    - 3 String: String can be obtained by killing Spiders, which spawn at night time if you are playing in easy or higher, and Cave Spiders, which are poisonous spiders that spawn in mineshafts (wooden structures found underground.)

Now that you have all the required materials, you can craft a bow. Now, you will need some arrows.

    Arrows can be crafted with:

    - 1 Stick: You can craft 4 sticks with two wood planks.

    - 1 Feather: Feathers can be obtained by killing chickens. Baby chickens do not drop feathers, only adult ones do, so if you want feathers from a baby chicken feed it a lot of seeds until it grows up then kill it.

    - 1 Flint: Flint can be obtained by mining gravel blocks. These blocks can be found on the ocean floor, near lakes, and underground in caves.

Now that you have all the required materials, you can craft 4 arrows, which should be more than enough to kill a creeper.

Now, you will need to wait 'till night time while keeping your difficulty easy or higher, so Creepers can spawn.

Once you find one, try hitting it a few times with your bare fist to lower its health while being careful that it doesn't detonate by straying back after every hit, then you can shoot it with your bow by pressing and holding then releasing cn_LT.

If the Creeper dies, the achievement is yours.
