Mission five is the first "really annoying" mission that you will come to in Blazing Angels 2. The fact that you only have the tiniest windows of opportunity to shoot at the 109s - before they or you fly into another observation zone - will, to start with, drive you almost to distraction, as does the 'flak'!

However, the easiest way to shoot the 109s down is simply to get as close to them as possible, wait until you are flying in an unobserved sector, and press RB to fire your rockets. Generally, if you are both flying straight, and you are fairly good at aiming anyway, the auto aim will do the rest! The rocket will hit the target perfectly nine times out of ten - thus making the mission considerably easier, and preserving your health!

Also note that the second half of the mission, protecting the spy, is best accomplished by flying high, and diving on your target. Repeat for each individual target. Flying along the narrow roads is suicide, and will not work, unless you are extremely lucky and can turn your aircraft on a sixpence.

Hope this helps those of you out there in need of assistance.
