I got this achievement at the same time as going for
go to career, season challenge and select difficulty if you are also trying to get
at the same time choose hard. These races are one lap qualifying and 5 laps, I chose Marrusia to start (the other option is Caterham) and selected Jenson Button (McLaren as my rival). I qualified 17th and finished 6th with Button in 7th, Second race I qualified 6th and finished 1st, Beating your opponent 2 out of 3 races gains a contract for their race seat. So accept the contact and move to McLaren and then choose Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) as your rival. I qualified on pole and finished 1st and switched to Mercedes choosing Sebastien Vettel (Red Bull) as my rival. Again two poles and race wins gained me a red Bull Drive. I selected Fernando Alonso (Ferrari) as my last rival two more wins gained me the
achievement which pops as soon as second place cannot mathematically win the championship. When I switched to Ferrari (5th team in a season) the achievement popped as soon as qualifying was over. So I didn't have to complete the last 2 races.
