The other solution for this doesn't get everything right. I got the achievement after completing 200 playground events and no races. I also did the bucket list stunts. These do not count. If you want to check your progress, press start and go to the Online tab. It gives a total number of races participated in. I believe the events only count if they are complete, so you may have to be a little over 200 if you didn't complete every event.

Sparkz1977Races in private lobbies do count. The question I would like an answer to is will the first race of a roadtrip count if you quit once it's complete and before the next race starts. If so, you could start a roadtrip with an infection race first, quit, and start another roadtrip with an infection race first. Would it work? Would it save much time in the long run?

vzr326@Sparks1977: This is a good question. For the 100 Playground matches it counted separately the Infected and the King and earned the achievement right when together come to 100 (51 Infected + 49 King at me).
So, if that method works here too then it's the fastest if always selecting Destination with Infected game first and quit out after King started after then.
But who would this testing? laugh

Law ViolationRight, like a fool, i deleted all my 360 saves as I gave it to my girlfriend. Only to decide a few months later that I want to finish off a few gamesfacepalm

The online counter has reset, obviously lost all single player progress - i must have done around 130 online playground events. However my online rank is still as before.

My question is, will i need to do the 200 events again or will there be a save on Cloud storing my progress? Will my progress be stored with my online rank?

This is going to be a massive wall of text but, I encourage you to read it all.

Whilst working on this achievement for the past few weeks with another TAer, I have encountered several things that WILL make earning this achievement easier.

    1. This can be done in private roadtrip
    2. You only need one other person
    3. You can simply move your left stick left and right and not get kicked from the game
    4. You can earn 5 other achievements whilst working towards this one. In addition to this, you can make some major progress towards the gold wristband as you'll get 15k - 50k XP per King event IF you're the crown holder

So, how do you go about doing this?

If you have a friend who already has the game, great ... if not, set up a session here on TA to find someone that can be on at regular times and for a decent period of time and add each other on XBL

Either player can host. Once in the single player free roam mode, press cn_start, press cn_RB to go to the Social tab, select Friends, find the friend you want to play with, press cn_A on his/her tag, select Invite to Private Online Roadtrip and then select Playground Games. The game should send the invite straight away. If not, press the guide button cn_guide, go to Friends, find the player you want ot play with and press cn_X on them to send an invite. Once your friend has joined, pick your cars and the host needs to press cn_start to start the match

There will be 2 games modes to play for a roadtrip to count; infected and king. Infected is quick, just make contact with each other as soon as possible. King is the one we need to focus on and lasts 4 minutes. The person who has the crown must drive around the map and perform as many skills as possible whilst, keeping a big enough skill chain. This is to maximise the amount of XP you'll earn. The person who doesn't have the crown simply needs to move their left stick left and right. Reason being that, you'll get kicked from the game after a minute of inactivity with a timer showing up at the 30 second of inactivity mark.

Alternatively, the idle player can also perfrom skills around the map and rack up skill chain and combos for a good chunk of XP at the end. In some matches when I was idle, I managed 25k XP.

Map wise, you'll get 3 choices; Sisteron, Saint-Martin and Montellino. Avoid the former, too bumpy and all grass so, not very good for skills. Saint-Martin is a great map, long straight runway for you to drift back and forth, just build up enough speed. Montellino is and great map for combining drift, air wreckage skills for big scores.

Once the first road trip is done, you'll earn 2 achievements:
Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)On The Road AgainThe On The Road Again achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 17 pointsComplete an Online Road Trip Location

Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)Freeroaming BuddiesThe Freeroaming Buddies achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 21 pointsJoin an Online Freeroam session with at least one friend

Once you've done 10 roadtrips (20 playground games events), you'll earn:
Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)UserThe User achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 24 pointsCompete in 20 Multiplayer Events

15 roadtrips (30 playground games events) later, you'll earn:
Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)Well TravelledThe Well Travelled achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 94 pointsComplete 25 Online Road Trip Locations

At this point, you'll be at the halfway mark for:
Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)You Are Playground GamesThe You Are Playground Games achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 158 pointsComplete 100 Playground Games

Now, it's just a matter of alternating the crown between the two of you to maximise XP and getting to the 2 big ones:
Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)AddictThe Addict achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 213 pointsCompete in 200 Multiplayer Events

Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360)Gold WristbandThe Gold Wristband achievement in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox 360) worth 178 pointsObtain the Gold Wristband

The gold wristband achievement will depends on how far you have progressed through the single player. I was around level 200 before I even started with the multiplayer. I ended up hitting level 500 for the gold wristband long before I got my Addict achievement. Good luck.

I tested this and it's working when only playing Infection games (the first half of Playground games) and then quit out right when King starting.

    1. Invite the boosting partner to a Private Roadtrip / Playground games.
    2. Your partner only accept it if Infection game is the first in your lobby!
    3. If you have King first in the lobby, then your boosting partner invite you (=>1.). With this don't need to wait the loading screen for another invite.
    4. After both of you are in the same lobby with Infection game first then the Host start it withcn_start button.
Note: The car and the car class doesn't matter while only need to "touch" each other in the center of map (5-20 sec max. depends on map and car).
    5. Wait until the King game starting, then press cn_start button and Quit.

If you only need the Multiplayer Events and don't need XP or Credits then this is the fastest method.
And this count toward the 100 Playground games too if needed!

WomiThis sounds great in theory, but at the moment the servers of the game are so temperamental, it can take minutes to get into another lobby due to server unavailable messages. Probably worked a lot better when they still cared about the game.
