How to unlock the Freedom Fighter achievement

  This as also my last cheevo. I found this amazing solution that worked perfectly on another site.
  
  Fast travel to Gros Morne. Put your controller down and just float there for 20 min. Don't look at your map or move your ship until 20 min has gone by.
  
  Next open your map and there will be a POW event just to the north of your ship.
  
  I don't know why it works but I was able to get the two POW ships I needed back to back.

  I waited the full 20 and was attracted by a bounty hunter. My crew's AI and the Bounty Hunter's AI fought the whole time. I didn't move, the crew protected me. Still spawned. Great solution.

  To save people the hassle of trying to figure out where Gros Morne is, it's in the North Atlantic at (483,-305)

  i can confirm this works. i was on two boats (196 freed), these were complete random finds, I needed two more boats, i sailed around for ages to the places that they apparently spawn but to no glory.
  i did this twice and both times it worked, amazing tip for those who need this because searching for them was not worth the time.

  Hi All
  
  The following website,

  has a a little section on where the POW spawn (although no indication on any trigger points to get them to spawn).
  
  It list the locations as follows,
  
  1- East of Glace Bay
  2- East of Chameau
  3- Northwest of Pearl Island
  4- East of Port Meinier
  5- Northeast of Harbour Deep
  6- South of Fogo
  
  I have encountered POWs a couple of times at number 3, so I believe the list to be true.
  Hope this helps refine your search for these dam ships
