As I just received this game for Christmas, EX slay3r's well-demonstrated video and accompanying solution were of great help to me in earning this challenge before the deadline. But as time grows ever shorter on the chance to unlock it, I thought some of you might appreciate a way to double your kill count by adding just a few extra seconds to each retry. My solution also takes place during Chapter 2, starting immediately after the autosave and cut-scene identified in the video.
Using EX slay3r's method to build from, my version similarly involves running past the first enemy to attack the second. Before doing this, however, take a moment to grab the wine bottle sitting right in front of you when the cut-scene ends. You will drop the bottle while performing the sneak kill, so quickly stand up with
, move forward slightly, and pick it up again. You might accidentally snag the nearby note or any items your victim may have spilled on the ground, but you should recover fast enough if you keep pushing
to cycle through any prompts that pop up. By this time, the first enemy will likely have figured out where you went and circled back to avenge his friend. With bottle in hand, turn towards him, aim at his head by holding
, and throw by pressing
. If the bottle connects, the impact should stun him long enough for you to get close and execute another sneak kill (
+
). If you don't yet have it, these actions should also earn you the following achievement...
As EX slay3r already mentioned, just wait a few seconds for the kill to register before reloading the autosave. And if you should unfortunately miss the throw, another bottle can be found back at the hay bale where you began this whole scenario. Or alternatively, just skip right to the reload process with the happy thought that you're at least one kill closer to fulfilling the challenge goal. Please check out the video, as it can show you all the action much better than I can explain it.
