How to unlock the Veteran achievement

    This one is pretty obvious: complete all story missions on Normal (or Heroic/Legendary). There are 40 story missions total, and ODST missions are not required.

    This achievement is tied directly to the individual achievements that unlock after completing each mission. If you have completed each mission and this one does not unlock, ignore what the in-game menu says and check your other achievements to see which story mission achievement did not unlock and replay that mission.

    This might be obvious to some, but mine did not unlock despite having played all missions, and the in-game menu stating that every mission had been completed on normal or higher. I re-played several missions before I thought to check the achievements, and found which mission did not unlock.

    PekSGNfor me the bug happens and I have to replay the third mission on Halo 4 :) .

    Epsilon FactorWhat are the 40 missions? I see that I have completed:
    Halo CE: 10/10
    Halo 2: 15/15
    Halo 3: 22/22 (H3: 11/11)(ODST: 11/11)
    Halo 4: 10/10
    This adds up to 57 missions, not 40. If I subtract 11 for ODST, it is still 46.

    EvilTrovisThe in-game menus show I've done every mission for all 4 Halo games and I have all of the individual level completion achievements, but Veteran (and Herald of the Reclamation) shows 97% progress. I even checked and I have the separate achievements for beating all of Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 levels, but not the one for all 4 games combined. Just another example of the trash that is Halo MCC.

    However, the good news is it seems you can look at your stats on Halo Waypoint to see what's missing. Go to this link:

    Replace the "yourgamertaghere" with your Gamertag and you should be able to able to see if it shows a score/time for you under the Campaign Completion Per Game section.

    Grim TeacupOmg, I was ripping my hair out trying to find out why all my hours of hard work were not allowing it to unlock. Found the glitched missions on Halo Waypoint, replayed them, and popped up immediately. Thank you! 👍

    Orbtastic1Annoyingly one of the two missions showing as incomplete on Waypoint is Noble Actual. I've changed the difficulty, I've sat through the cut scenes, just won't pop.
