How to unlock the Excellent Taste achievement

    For this achievement I would recommend one of 3 things.

    1. Play through whichever playlist of the difficulty you plan on beating the game in first. Theres an Easy, Medium, Hard, and Legendary Playlist.
    Then, play the 2 playlists that only have 3 levels each.
    2. If you're doing the LASO playlist, same thing.
    3. Play the 2 playlists that are only 3 levels, then the one that is 4 levels.

    All the smaller playlists are on normal difficulty with 0 skulls on, so it may be a good idea to attempt your speedruns, but some words of warning.
    - When I did the 3 smaller playlists, even though I did all levels under par, only a few gave the achievement.
    - The third playlist I completed did not give me credit for this achievement for some reason (I did LASO and both the 3 level ones), so I had to do the four level one as well.

    I'm not sure what made that happen. I've seen reports of people claiming skipping the cutscenes messes with achievements, but the last level I did was the Maw and it doesn't let you skip that cutscene. If this happens to anyone else I'd like some info.

    Mr FiddlerI didn't think to do my legendary play through via a playlist! :( Shame it doesn't count regular campaign under the same conditions as a playlist. Oh well... I'll know better for 2, 3 and 4.

    Elite1111111111No, even if levels overlap they are separate playlists. Or else you could have just done the story on normal and gotten the achievement. You must do the playlist by selecting it.

    LostMantella9do the complete the whole campaign on a certain difficultly playlists even count? I just ran through the game on the easy playlist, didn't get credit or pop the achievement for completing one playlist. Or is it just bugged?

    Elite1111111111It should count, but I too had one of my playlists not count. Playlists and achievements seem to not go well together.

    ParadoxReal8Is playlists disable some achievements?
    Since yesterday I should have 3 achievements which I don't have. No-Fly Zone and hungry grunt and Rex on the maw. Did everything I needed for. Damn, even killed 4 banshee instead of 3 and I still don't have either of those. But I'm sure I did achievements in playlist before with no problems... I don't know what's happening...

    GamePadZebbyAlways launch your game from the playlists menu, don't use Resume. Me and my roomie finished the last three levels of Reach using resume and it didn't count towards the playlist progress
