Simply plug in a second controller or let a friend join you. Then simply play the epilogue in the halo 4 campaign on legendary. You just have to press Y twice to skip the cutscenes. Got 3 achievements doing this in less than a minute.

NineAfterTenI wasn't able to pull this off today as it's no longer possible to select any of the Prologue levels for Halo 3/4 while you have a second guest player. Looks like they patched this out with a recent update maybe? It also didn't pop the "Legendary" cheevo either for a single player.

Obi TW0Confirmed what NineAfterTen said. I tried with both a guest and local second account and this didn't work.

Haven't tried on separate consoles to see if it's just been completely disabled for co-op or if it's just a local play thing.

you can still get this by playing the final level of Reach with 2 controllers.

All you have to do in that level is die :)

    Standard Operating Brocedure

Have a friend invite you or you invite them, you can net this achievement on any mission in the game just by completing it. Must be on Normal difficulty.

A couple of people have noted that they did "Requiem" on Halo 4 normal and they unlocked this achievement doing solo! laugh If you don't have a friend its worth trying.

There is 2 more achievements for finishing on Legendary with a Co-op partner if you want to get the most out of the mission.

Note: The mission achievements have been really bugged so if your achievement says "Done.... Unlocking" your in the same boat as basically every gamer. I still have 1 mission achievement unlocked a week and a half ago and it still says "Done.... Unlocking" don't keep attempting to unlock it because it won't happen. Just pray Microsoft or 343 (whoever has to fix this will) which with the amount of people its affecting, I can assure you something will be done.

Update 12/09/2014: Seems as though they fixed all level achievements, either it will unlock on you randomly (some say) or you can definitely unlock it by replaying the level. It won't unlock immediately, but at a random time, most likely you will have it in 24 hours.

farmnoobI got this by playing solo on Infinity. The post-game stats page had glitched out (partially unloaded) and it showed a second copy of me as a player and then the achievement unlocked. I also got to par score achievement even though I didn't score high enough.

captincrampy89All i did was use 2 controllers and play the first mission on halo 3, which is just a clip. Takes like a minute.
