Quick Note: If you've already unlocked the Infinite Rocket Launcher, just don't fire it (unequip it to be safe) and progress through the game to an item box. You can run passed pretty much every zombie in this game as it not using the weapon is easy enough. Once you get to an Item Box, drop off the rocket launcher and the knife will be in there.

Best done on Very Easy mode as Chris, due to his higher health and he handles the knife better than Jill. Before you start, just in case you accidentally pick up a self-defense item, go into your options and set Defense Items to "Manual" just to be safe. That way even if you accidentally picked up a dagger or something, you won't use it unless you press a button. Never pick up the Fuel Canteen...and honestly you shouldn't have any trouble with stomping zombie heads (as you won't be killing any, except 2 at the end). There may be ONE crawling zombie in the Kitchen if you go there but...just run around to avoid him.

A couple of things to note first:

1.) If you start on Once Again Mode after you've unlocked One Dangerous Zombie (Forest with Grenades attached to his vest), he will replace a certain number of zombies throughout the game. The good news is that afterwards those zombies seem to vanish entirely if he takes over one in a new area. The spawns are normally the same...I think I first ran into him either above the Second Floor Balcony (above the dining room) or above the stairs outside the Serum Save Room (this is after you've already obtained the armor key, normally a zombie breaks through the metal door but Forest will do this instead).

He's easy enough to run by and even if you get bit, simply press buttons fast enough to throw him off. Strangely enough on a future run-through as Jill (for the Ink is for Squids achievement) he was NEVER able to grab me, he'd always miss.

2.) Aim to let Rebecca die to the Hunter, that way you only have to fight the Tyrant in the labs. The reason for this is that you would be required to use the Rocket Launcher on the roof, ontop of his more dangerous attacks...that weapon might void the achievement. If you don't save Rebecca, there's no-one to arm the self-destruct system so Tyrant stays down.

Edit: According to Raezie, the Rocket Launcher will NOT void the achievement. However at the same time, fighting Tyrant on the roof is completely optional if you let Rebecca die early...and is highly recommended to avoid the extra hassle with that fight (where the Tyrant is faster and can one-hit kill you if he picks you up, as you can't use self-defense items to make him let you go).

General Hints

- Run passed every zombie, cerberus, Hunter, Chimera...pretty much anything that isn't a boss. Since it's on Very Easy, some areas will have less zombies that you'd expect on Normal but some still have at least 2. Don't even bother attacking them with the knife.
- There's only two zombies you should kill and that's when you're needing to carry the Fuel Capsule. One of them is where you get the Fuel Capsule filled (though you may be able to get by without him attacking) and the other is in a small hallway in the square-shaped corridor. It's best to kill both of these when you have the empty capsule, that way they won't have time to come back as Crimsons. Also, kill one Chimera on the path to where you place the Fuel Capsule.
- Pick up practically every health item you see. I did this myself and I still had a ton left over but the reason for this is just in case you do get attacked real bad, you'll heal up nicely. Always keep at least one full-heal item in your inventory next to the knife if you can.
- I recommend going for the V-Jolt, so this requires letting Richard die instead of getting him the Serum. You'll know you have the right cutscene as Rebecca will have left and Richard will just be lying there. V-Jolt does NOT void the achievement (as myself and Raezie can confirm, that's what I used) and it will have Plant 42 at half health.
- Bosses. There's expert ways of dealing with the bosses...but here's a simpler way: just stand there and swing the knife, with at least 4 full heal health items (more if you can manage). They'll all go down, guarantee it. Well, this is best used on Crimson Elder and Tyrant...Elder's a bit of a pain due to his speed and Tyrant I just stopped caring ;>_> I could have dodged him but instead I stood there swinging up at his heart (not sure if that did more damage). Plant 42. I just went to wherever I saw vines/tentacles and swung at them, Yawn I lured behind the bookshelf and stabbed his tail (referring to the second fight of course, I ignored him entirely the first one). I didn't even bother with Black Tiger, I literally just ran passed the Spider to the door and cut the webs.

If you have a situation like Crimson Elder where you need to place 4 items before even getting to the fight, try to set 3 up first then come back with the last item, 4 health items and the knife.

Trust me you don't need to be an expert knife-runner to get this achievement, I'm not one that's for sure (at least in the older games, I can Knife Only-No Damage RE4 any day).

A few bonus notes about Very Easy:

- Every time you pick up an Ink Ribbon, it comes with 6.
- You can get grabbed and bit 3 times before hitting "Yellow" Caution. Same applies for Orange and into Danger.
- Cerberus are less vicious. On harder difficulties they will instantly jump and attack you, here they're more prone to waiting at least 5 seconds upon noticing you to act. Not always the case but this helps in certain areas.
- Certain zombies are replaced by the "weakest" zombie, including the Original Zombie in the Kenneth Hallway. You won't see Mr. Super Baldy (nicknamed due to him taking 3 rounds from Barry's 44. and still living) after the start of the game, he'll be replaced by that one zombie that crawls out of the bath-tub in the East-Wing. You'll notice this too in areas where you know a bald zombie should be there but instead it's the hair-having one (except outside Lisa's cabin, that guy's always bald).
- You only have to deal with 2 Hunters if you use the proper path in the Mansion. The first one that attacks and then outside the Save Room nearby.
