This achievement requires you to recruit all 9 possible companions in a single playtrough. Not too difficult, i got this without really trying and without using my Inquisitor perks to unlock dialogue options.

Most of the related quests unlock during normal story progression. I had all companions and the achievement unlocked on arrival at A few need to be hunted down although with the possible exception of Sera they are easily found. Once you have met them, talk to them whenever you can and after a while you will get the option to ask them to join the Inquisition.

    The Companions are

Hexa FoxJust because something unlocked for you, does not mean it will not glitch for someone else. I do not know what people do not get about this. The achievement unlocked for me with a slight delay after recruiting Dorian above Solas' chamber in Skyhold.

I realize this is old but Iron Bull like many is one of the first companions you get. Right at the beginning of the game a soldier is in front of Haven offering their support. He claims you will not be disappointed. Then you can travel to the Storm Shore and recruit Iron Bull and his group.

The guide could have been more direct in recruiting companions and when missed. For instance, in order of when you can recruit them rather than A,B,C, order.

DragonSilverDWRTaken from EA Answers. Tried this and it worked for me and fixed my bugged achivements (this one and focused).

"Welp... FINALLY managed to unlock The Brightest of Their Age. And I think I may have figured out a workaround, at least for Xbox One players, who have problems with achievement tracking in DAI. Here's what I did when all other troubleshooting methods failed to solve my issue: Delete all of my data/characters.

You're probably gaping at me like, "there's no effing way I am doing that". Just hear me out; it's not as extreme as it sounds on the X1. Even without a Gold membership, your saves are constantly backed up on the cloud. Though it requires "temporarily" getting rid of your previous characters, it may reset the tracking for a new one--at least it did for me.

Here is what you do: Delete your DAI saves from the console (for an explanation how to do this in detail, here). Start a new character and DO NOT resync your cloud data with the console; your achievement tracking should reset. For me, I recruited every team member and the percentage updated until The Brightest of Their Age unlocked. I then reset the game and resynced my cloud data, which returned my previous characters' data. My achievement counts for my main Inquisitor returned to normal, too.

I encourage everyone who has an X1 to try this to see if it works. And for other systems, if you have tried this and it works or have different workarounds to help out other players, please post them!"

Tyrian CallowsSo this achievement is stuck at 16% for me tried the solution in the comments deleted every bit of save data and still nothing anyone know of any fix for this? This is the last achievement I need for this game

EDIT: If this achievement is bugged for you try what I did you need a physical version of the game go offline just have the base game installed recruit everyone and after you have done that go online and that seemed to fix the achievement for me

SharanRajMine is stuck at 50% and this is my last achievement as well. I deleted all my saves and did 4 different new play-throughs but nothing happened. Any suggestions?

TheBigBBI appear to have the misfortune of having this achievement bug. Reloaded the save before recruiting my last character a few times. I am on Series X and picked mages. Sounds like some people had this unlock when they picked templars and got Cole before even getting Dorian. Maybe that's the way to go, but too late for me. I will comment again if I manage to get it to unlock.

My RingtonesUpon skipping Sera in my playthrough. I thought I could upload my save from the 360 right before I recruited her then recruit her on the ONE. The achievement didn't pop after recruiting her. Still stuck at 83%. After unlocking Skyhold and having recruited everyone besides Dorian, I sent another save over from my 360. Loaded up the save and then recruited Dorian in the Library the achievement popped shortly afterwards. So yes, you can get this achievement with the save transfer.

SpascificaSo this glitched on me during my Nightmare playthrough at 83% and I'm confident the reason for this was due to me picking the mages rather than the templars.

How I fixed the achievement is I saved it until it was my final achievement then essentially fully wiped my save file and did another run making sure pick the templars and it popped after re-inviting Cole and then inviting Dorian to the team.

    Step by Step:

    • Have game completly closed down.
    • go to Manage game and add-ons for DA:I
    • Select Saved data and select DELETE ALL
    • Go to the Xbox settings and then Network setting to go Offline (I did this on Wi-Fi not wired)
    • Boot DA:I and start a new game on casual difficulty
    • Skip the cutscenes until you're able to move your character and then make a manual save.
    • Without closing the game, boot Xbox settings again and go back online.
    • When you'r re-connected online return to DA:I and then fully quit out of the game
    • Reboot DA:I
    • Once you get to the main menu, select that you want to load the save from your Console
    • Continue game with you new character
    • Recuit Cassandra, Varric and Solas at the start as you would.
    • Get to Val Royeaux and recuit Vivienne and Sera
    • Go back to Hinterlands and recuit Blackwall
    • Go back to Haven, speak to Krem then head to Storm Coast for Iron bull
    • Ensure you pick the Templars side by doing Champions of the Just quest
    • Continue main quest to Skyhold
    • When you're at Skyhold and able to move freely head to lowest level and find the Look for Cole interaction at the bottom of the stairs then recuit Cole fully.
    • Head up the Southern tower to find Dorian and recuit him.

Achievement popped a few seconds after finsihing dialogue with Dorian.
