    Costumes Recommended:
1 offense, 1 healing, and the Candy Corn.

    Creepy Treat Cards Recommended:
Nubbins: Use to defeat Ophirion quicker.
Bubble Barf: Use this card on your healer
Suck 'ems: Use this card on your attacker
Frostbites: Use if needed for a quick heal/resurrect
Headless Horsemints: Use to increase damage amount inflicted on boss.
Cherry Klots: Use on whoever may die first.

I used the Wolfman, the Pharaoh, and the Candy Corn
The only one I would make a priority of using would be the Pharaoh (and of course if you want the achievement the Candy Corn). The only person I had die was the Wolfman but I had placed a Cherry Klots card on him prior to his death so the only bad thing that happened was my main offense missed an opportunity to attack. I used the Bubble Barf card on my Pharaoh so that she could survive as long as needed. The Candy Corn, because it draws aggro, almost died. I have it upgraded to the Chocolate version and maybe that is what saved it. If not, I had my Pharaoh's special ready to use.

Ophirion's attacks are similar to any melee based minion except that he hits harder than most. He doesn't summon minions, and he doesn't cause damage over time. He is easy.

He gives 1000 experience, 2000 with the Tongue Punchers card
and 400 candy, 800 with the Snickers card. You can receive an additional 100 if you use the Pampla-Mooses card.

Ophirion is a Monster type enemy, has 2000 HP, has no minions that support him during the battle, but does heavy damage to a single character when he attacks. The Pterodactyl is strong against Monster types, but you can use other outfits as long as they are not weak against Monster or you use a Creepy Treat card to change your strength type. Additionally, if you are going for Hardcorn Mode, you will need to have one of your team equipped with the Candy Corn outfit.

The achievement's name gives a hint as to the intended way of dealing with this boss.

If you pay attention, you may notice that Ophirion will talk between attacks, saying something prior to performing the attack. He even starts out with a free shot early on. This is the developer's way of showing you how this battle will go. The boss's comments will be directed at a specific character, such as shaving the Wolfman, or extinction in reference to the Pterodactyl. He will then go and attack that party member. At this point, you need to use a Counter Attack, which is learned by training with Corvus when it is made available.

Doing so will damage the boss's armor, breaking a piece of it (kneepads, shoulderpads, arm braces) as well as damaging the boss. In this way, even Candy Corn can do damage, if it is the one attacked. Counter-attacking correctly, plus one or more Creepy Treats to help you out should make this boss fight much easier.
